Good afternoon, On November last year I went to Hotworx to sign up for a membership. I was told in order to cancel it, you need to announce with 60 days prior.I have asked for a printed paper with the contract, they said printer isn’t working. I called again the next day, no email being sent yet, so I had to go there in person to ask them again for a paper, and they sent me an email with the few lines of the contract.OnMarch 1st , I have called to give them 60 days notice. The lady asked the reason. I said I will be out of the country, but we may be moving. Then she suggested to freeze to account. I asked for my account to be closed after 60 days and to maybe put a note that once I will have the results with moving or not, I’ll call again. On May 1st I have called again with the confirmation that I won’t be moving, but want to close the account. I spoke with a different lady at 12 pm and asked if she sees the note from March and she said yes. I asked “Am I all set to close the acct so I won’t be charged again in Jun.or there’s anything else I need to do?” She said you are all set.OnJun.5th I checked my CC and my acct was charged in Jun for another month of 100$. I called and talked to owner, ******* ******, and asked why she charged my acct for Jun and she said she had to bc I asked to freeze the acct. I said: “You tried to convince me to do it,not to close it and I said I will follow up with a call and I did and asked to close the acct. You did not. If you were to freeze it, then you only would charge $10, not $100. Please refund my money and close my acct, andAlso, print a paper so I have it on hand. She was impolite, rude, saying she won’t close it, and wave the fee for Jun bc I had to come in person. I said nobody told me that. Please print a paper She said the printer doesn’t work, but she’ll sent me an email. I haven’t received it and she said to get out of there and another lady yelled and pushed me saying multiple times “Get the **** out of here many times.
