      Horrible company, we were visiting from tn and had parked where several other vehicles were, and walked right by the parking attendant on the way to the restaurant we were visiting. Came back 22 and a half hrs later and our van had been towed! When we say police why the others werent towed (that had local license plates) they said they were employees and a musician. Palmetto towing towed our van and we had no idea when and where to retrieve it. The *** attendant that watched us park by the other vehicles happened to have number and address of palmetto. We called, were told we couldnt get it till morning, and it would be $275 to get it back! We were ***** get a shuttle back to our resort, had cleaned up and gone to bed when palmetto contacted us thru text saying they were sorry, that we could in fact pick up our van in a 30 minute window and to bring $275 cash. We had neither cash or mode of transport at that hour of night and elected to wait till morning. Googled towing fees in *********** and discovered they had an ordinance capping towing fees at $200! Contacted city hall the next morning, they referred us to the police who then said the city hall was always referring tourists to the police when they didnt want to deal with situations. Paid for an Uber to get to palmetto company address. It was located in the back end of several rundown properties and turned out to be a 100 by100 fenced in over grown piece of land with sand dirt and grass and 7 junked cars locked behind a fence and gate with our van inside! A guy shows up and refused to let me check for damage before paying. Admitted they had to drag our van from its parked location to the street for hook up! We will never return to ****************** again!

      Towed our vehicle while we were on vacation. We couldn't find our truck for 6 hours and they refused to contact us. We had to get the sheriffs office to assist on the recovery of our truck. The dispatcher and truck driver both confirmed, in front of the sheriff, that we were towed due to our tags not matching our vehicle. (Therefore, they are just driving around and reading people's tags.) Our vehicle was just purchased and tags transferred and we had proper paperwork from a reputable dealer in **************. The ****** truck that "stole" our vehicle was too small to haul our f250 and drug it to another location for a larger truck to carry it. There was damage that was consistent with the ****** truck on the front bumper and the driver confirmed it, took pictures, in front of the sheriff (which is all in a report) and told us that insurance would cover it, we need to call in the morning. We called and emailed the towing company and it took three days to finally get in touch with ***** the owner, who told us to basically s**** off and he didn't damage our truck and he isn't fixing it. This company illegally towed my vehicle and damaged it, we have record with the sheriff's that they confirmed they damaged it. And now the owner is refusing to do anything and has told us not to contact him. STAY AWAY from this company. They are operating illegally. Not to mention they also collect money under the table to avoid paying business taxes.
