    Mower is defective. Dealer will not honor warranty and employees are very rude after the sale.

    *** ********* purchased a mower from us on 7/15/2024 for $4526.09 *** ********* called a few days  later saying the mower seemed to be running rich. Once, we got the mower in, we could not find anything wrong with the mower. To satisfy *** *********, we installed a new carburetor on the mower and he picked it up. A couple of days later, he called back and said it still was not running right. We asked to come to his house to see what it was doing. He refused our offer and said he would bring it to us. When *** ********* returned to our store with the mower, we asked him to stay while one of my techs cut grass with it. My tech cut grass while *** ********* watched him for nearly an hour with no issues. ************ agreed with my tech that the mower was running fine and stated that he had a rod in his back from an injury and that this may be why it’s not running right because the safety switch is not getting pushed in all the way under the seat. *** *********, shook my techs hand and said everything was good with the mower. ** ********* was in our store this passed Saturday 8/3/2024 , to pick up a bagger for the mower that we had ordered for him and he didn’t mention any issues with the mower. I was very surprised to get this email from the BBB which appears to have been sent prior to Saturday. We have been in business since 1996, and we pride ourselves on having excellent customer service. If there is an issue with the mower, we will take care of it, but we are not going to exchange the mower just because the customer wants a new one! Frank W*****
