      On July 22, 2020 we contacted with Culler Roofing to replace our roof. We have has several issues with the roof since it was installed. My Father was the one who contracted them, and he has passed so I am helping my Mother get these issues resolved. We have been more than patient with them to try and resolve the issues. We have reached out to them several times, and we now have roof leaks, and water damage in the master bathroom, the kitchen, the hallway bathroom, and the living room seam going into the master bedroom. Some of the shingles are lifting up, and you can see how the water is getting into the house. We are now concerned that mold is in the house and we are breathing that in. Abi sent a text message saying that Michael B*** was coming out, and he came out looked at the mold/water stain in the master bathroom, and went on the roof, and then he left. I called several times to follow up and have been getting the run around. We want the roof repaired, around the skylights, and ALL repairs made to the ceilings from the water leaks.

      We are working to resolve this by replacing the skylights.  We suggested removing the skylights and covering over the hole with decking and shingles but the homeowner doesn't want to do that.

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      This was never an option for us, we are fine with this option if it fixes the problem. What are they going to do about the mold and the rest of the damage that the “new” leaking roof has caused. They do not respond back and it is hard to get in contact with someone, get someone to come out, or get a response. We just want the roof fixed, and the damage it has caused. Every time it rains we have more damage and leaks.

      We are still working with the homeowner to resolve the issue.  Close up the skylight and shingle over, or install new skylights.  They also don't make that shingle anymore, so it will not match - what is the best option.  We're working on making it right.

      Hello,

      Michael B*** texted me on Jan 17, 2025 at 7:00am to inform me that someone was coming out to take the skylights out. I appreciate them coming to make the repairs to the skylights, however I need for them to schedule and communicate with me prior to the day of them coming out to do any repairs. Just to be sure someone is home, because I would hate for them to come out and say they came and no one was home. This would delay the process, and make it look bad on my part as if I am not working with them. They did remove the sky lights, and covered them with plywood. They have not made any repairs to the mold or the walls , or ceilings yet. I have included the message and pictures. I’m looking forward to better communication, to get these issues resolved.

      We were given an estimate by Culler Roofing for a roof repair on our garage. The estimate was $2250.00. On 4/13/2023 the work was completed. On 4/20/2023 we received a bill for $3255.00. I called the company and they said extra material was needed and the final bill would not be adjusted. That is a 50% increase over the original estimate without getting an okay from us before proceeding with the work. Part of the increase was for materials and the major amount was for labor. This additional work was NOT okayed by me. Invoice #*******

      We understand that additional charges are not fun to receive.  However, those potential additional charges were listed in the estimate provided to you.  There was significant wood damage that had to be replaced in order for us to guarantee our work.  We gave you the drip edge at cost because that was not included on the estimate.  Please call our office if you would like to discuss this any further.  Thank you for your business.
