    I was quoted $4,200 to have these issues fixed minus the carpet which I am waiting for a quote since the first company refused to fix someone else’s job due to liability issues. I have plenty more pictures and texts including texts with Emmanuel.

    This individual is not being truthful and have done this out of spite because I would not do more work and he not pay for my time of travel and material cost 

    He got what he paid for , no free labor here I am not a slave

    I am rejecting this response because: I paid over $16,000 for both jobs which at one point was charged for the same thing twice and I let Emmanuel know which he refunded me after I let him know multiple times. The work was not finished. I even spoke with him after he sent me pictures of the “finished job” and asked home why some of the trim and baseboards weren’t installed and he said those pictures were taken before they finished. I am in the military and just PCS’d and am no longer in the state so I couldn’t verify the work for myself so I sent a friend to go and he FaceTimed me and that’s where I learned of all the issues. I then reached out to another contractor who quoted me $4,200 to fix all of the issues not including the carpet which I am still waiting to hear back on. I have texts as proof and photos and videos. I’ve also asked for receipts for the materials which he still has not provided. I have proof of him starting both projects late. Also paid for demo and you can clearly see that the vinyl flooring was not removed and in the pic of the stairs you can see that the carpet has not been stretched to fit the stairs. I have videos of how loose the carpet is but cannot upload them on here.

    I am rejecting this response because: lying and not completing work is not an acceptable way to run a business. Someone asking for receipts or asking why certain that were supposed to be completed is not bullying or harassing. I have the text messages to show and posting a review with pictures about the poor workmanship is why reviews are there so other people can see the work ethic and workmanship of whatever business they are seeking services. Giving a negative review is not bullying or harassment as well.

    I am rejecting this response because: As of this morning,  August 7, 2024, I have not heard from the owner. Because of his response to you all that he would be delivering payment personally, I waited to hear from him and I have made attempts to reach him. He is not responding and that leaves me unsure of his intentions. I'm left to assume he misused funds and I want my money back.
