My name is ***** *****. My address is **** ****** **** *** ****** ** *****. On Friday 06/28/2024 several of us tenants experienced a very disturbing inconvenience. While I was out enjoying dinner, I received a notification on my ring doorbell. To my surprise, my vehicle was hoisted into the air on a tow truck. Thank goodness I have a ring doorbell because we were informed that we had to pay $200 for them to drop it there or $400 when they got back to the lot due to the car being parked TIGHTLY on the curb. To make matters worse, when I paid them to drop my car I had to wait an additional hour because they ran out of gas in front of my driveway! None of us even received a receipt. This is extremely unprofessional. We never received a notice that this can no longer happen nor did we agree to that in our lease. When things happen in our community, we always received text messages along with papers AND emails on our doors about new policies that will be implemented. How come something as profound as this was not presented in a timely and efficient manner? I am extremely upset. If things were going to change, I understand that but to make us pay $200 for no reason is INSANE to me. Please see screenshots attached regarding parking that we received in March. This is robbery. I went to the front office about this, but the leasing agent didn’t have any idea about what was going on. She sent an email to the property manager which hasn’t gotten a response. I’ve sent numerous emails requesting resolution since Saturday 06/29/24 and I haven’t gotten a response. I will be moving and I submitted my 60 day notice to vacate on Monday 07/01 which also hasn’t gotten a response. I’ve called their main office and all they’ve said is someone will be reaching out to me. I am looking for reimbursement of my $200 and/or waiving of the early lease buy out fee.

ON AUGUST 1 2023 I WENT ONLINE AND PAID MY RENT. I HAD JUST PREVIOUSLY AGREED TO AN "EARLY BIRD" SPECIAL FOR A NEW LEASE. I PAID MY BALANCE DUE OF $753.00. LEAVING A BALANCE OF $0.00. ( I HAVE PROOF THAT THE BALANCE WAS $0.00) ON FRIDAY AUGUST 4,2023 I WAS CONTACTED AND ASK TO GO ONTO MY PORTAL TO SIGN MY NEW LEASE. AT THAT TIME I NOTICED THE WERE OTHER CHARGES AND A LATE FEE THAT WAS ADDED. I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE VIA TEXT MESSAGED AND WAS TOLD THE OTHER CHARGES WERE FOR WATER & SEWER, RENTERS INSURANCE AND PET RENT. I DID NOT AGREE TO THE RENTERS INSURANCE OR PET FEE. I'VE NEVER HAD TO PAY THAT BEFORE. IN FACT I HAD TO TAKE OUT RENTERS INSURANCE FOR A YEAR IN FEBRUARY 2023 (PER THE PREVIOUS OWNERS} WHEN ASK ABOUT THAT I WAS TOLD IT WAS BECAUSE MY LEASE IS EXPIRED BUT I DO NOT HAVE A LEASE I AM ON A MONTH TO MONTH. I HAD SEVERAL QUESTIONS THAT I WAS NOT GETTING ANY ANSWERS TO SO I SENT A TEXT SAYING I WOULD BE AT THE OFFICE AT THE REGENCY APARTMENTS AT 8:00 AM MONDAY MORNING. ON MONDAY AUGUST 7 2023 I WAS THERE AT 8:00 AM. I SPOKE WITH MADDIE WHO WAS VERY NICE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO HELP AT ALL. I REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE POINT OF HER EVEN BEING THERE. SHE DID INFORM ME THAT THERE WAS A "GLITCH" IN THE SYSTEM AND THE CURRENT CHARGES DUE (WATER, INS, PET) SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDED IN WITH THE RENT BUT WAS NOT. I UNDERSTAND MISTAKES HAPPEN BUT I SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED A LATE FEE FOR THAT, SHE AGREED BUT SAID THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO. THE ONLY PERSON THAT COULD TAKE IT OFF WAS ANGEL TAGGART, THE PROPERTY MANAGER. SHE CALLED HER (AFTER I TOLD HER TOO) AND ANGEL SAID SHE WAS OFF AND WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HELP ME UNTIL TUESDAY. I EXPLAINED I HAD SEVERAL OTHER ISSUES SO I WOULD CALL HER FIRST THING TUESDAY MORNING (08/08/23) I HAVE CALLED 3 TIMES, LEFT VOICEMAILS AND SENT AN EMAIL WITH NO RETURN CALL OR EMAIL. I HAVE CALLED MADDIE AND SHE SAID SHE DID NOT KNOW WHY SHE HAD NOT CALLED ME BUT SHE WOULD TELL HER...STILL NOTHING. I NEED TO GET THIS RESOLVED ASAP.

Adalease property management sent a lease renewal letter to ***** ****** with all of the charges and the start date of 8/1 for those charges to include $870 rent, $40 water, $15 renter liability insurance and $20 pet rent.  ***** ****** signed the renewal letter accepting the lease terms and indicating that she wants to renew her lease. I have attached the signed renewal letter and a copy of her tenant ledger showing that the charges match the signed renewal letter.  I removed the late fee as a courtesy. I have attached a copy of our email exchange as well.  I spoke with Darby on the phone today and explained her charges and removed her late fee.
