    At the recommendation of a security representative I have dealt with for several years, I signed with ADT for services to my home. However, I found I was under contract with a competitor. The representative agreed to allow me out of the contract under a right of rescission. On 1/22/25, my service with ADT was cancelled. Even before this date, my equipment was pulled out of the house my monitoring connection with ADT was severed. On 2/5/25, ADT debited my checking account for service in the month of February. However, I have no service with ADT in February. A call to the representative was not returned. A call to ADT finds that it takes 30 days to close an account. (WHY? In the age of computers, 30 days??) So, my account will be closed 2/21/25 and the amount for my lack of service in February will be prorated for for 2/23 through 3/5/25. In other words, I will receive only a portion of the money they have debited from my account. In effect, ADT has stolen money for services never rendered and refuses to give it back. In my conversation with ADT, I spoke with Anna who, at my request, forwarded my call to the floor manager, Ian. They both told me the same think that I have reported above. However, I asked Ian to speak with his supervisor. I was told that he was the floor manager and he had no one above him. In pressing him further, he said his boss was on vacation. I pressed further to speak to someone else up the line and was told that this person was not working today. So, not only has ADT stolen money for services never rendered, I believe that Ian has lied to me about his superiors. I want a 100% refund for services for February - $55.99. Nothing else will satisfy this customer.
