    I followed all the directions to file a claim on their "lifetime" warranty. They are claiming that I abused the items and will NOT honor their lifetime claim.

    I did follow all the proper care instructions they suggested and followed all of their guidelines. The pots and pans clearly did not hold up and the non stick plating wore off.

    All I am asking is for them to honor their own warranty and replace the requested items.

    My enameled pot and pan leach and unsafe amount of lead. The online customer service refused to help me when I haven’t even had my pan and pot for a year. These are unsafe to use and dangerous to eat out of. I tested it with a lead kit.

    Purchased Enameled cast iron pot on Dec. 5th. Kept in box until I first opened the box to use the pot on on December 18th. Washed and place on stovetop for soup when I noticed that the rim and lid had rust on it. I immedidately contacted Le Creuset as they have a lifetime warranty on their cast iron products. The resolution they provided was to oil the product and heat. I would absolutely do that if I had been using this product for 10 year, 5 years or even 1 year, but for there to be rust on the product on first use means that the enamel coating was not appropriately apply at manufacture and it's clearly and defect. I reached out again and they said they would send replacement information, but immediately after, a manager decided that they will not send replacment information and suggested that I go to the store I purchased for the replacement. Unfortunately the store does not have replacement available for me as the store was ********** and it was a special collaboration with Le Creuset and they do not regulary have Le Creuset products on hand. I'm frustrated that they will not honor their own LifeTime warranty. Below is what the warranty states

    Le Creuset cookware is warranted to you by Le Creuset of America, Inc. to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of its purchase. For this Lifetime Limited Warranty to apply, you must follow the care and use instructions provided with the utensil. This warranty covers normal household use only.
