    Hi My name is ****** ****** and i previously filed a complaint with BBB #*******. You offered me a $50 gift card which i will accept at *******@gmail.com. However, i strongly suggest that you investigate this particular location for potential fraud. I can't confirm or deny the accuracy of my statement so i'm saying "potential." My experience has led me to believe that some internal fraud may be going on regarding the POS system and finances pertaining to overbooking and cancelling prepaid reservations at that particular location. ( Best Western Airport Inn & Suites.) 2470 Prospect Dr, Charleston, SC 29406-4433. I don't want anything further and i am done with the situation.     We were staying at this hotel from 3/18/23 to 3/19/23 shortly after going to bed at about 11 P.M. my fiancé heard what seem like water dripping, we got up to see where the drip may be coming from. When he opened the closet door which was next to the bathroom he saw a drip of water coming down from the upstairs room. He proceeded to open the bathroom door and there was alot of water coming from the bathroom upstairs. The water was coming through the bathroom ceiling and the light fixture. I immediately told him to go down to the front desk and informed them of the water leak. The front desk clerk name Chasty told him she was going up to the room where the water was coming from, she never came to our room to check or assess how bad the bathroom was. When she went back down to the front desk my fiancé asked her if there were any another rooms available and she told him they were completely booked. When he came back to the room and told me that no rooms were available I called her and she told me that if we wanted to leave we will be refunded. We gather our belongings and headed down to the front desk, she made a call to the manager name
    Cathy and told us to call her on Monday 3/20/23 after 11 A. M. When I called on Monday I spoke to Kenya who said she was the assistant manager and that Cathy was on conference call. Kenya told me they were going to refund me the $45 for parking but not the room refund of $158.35 because there were rooms available that we could've been changed to. That's not what the front desk told us she said they were booked. This is unacceptable we were not able to stay in that room as the bathroom was drench with water and the light fixture was a hazard as it could of caused an electrical fire. The treatment we have received from this property is unfair and they do not value the safety and well-being of the customer. We were told that the bathtub in the room upstairs overflowed because the person fell asleep and left the running.

    On April 5, 2023 I, Kenya L. W******* Spoke to Mrs. ******** on 04/05/2023 @ 6:05pm

    I profusely apologize for the incident she had and was calling for the second time to let her know 

    along with the first refund of $45.00 they paid for cruise transportation, we were also giving her a refund 

    of the full room amount also. I pride myself and making sure that our guest are financial made hold again.
