      I took my car to them because I was having a oil leak, they first charged me 400 dollars for an inspection to find the cause of the oil leak and then called me to say they think they know where it is but it was oil residue on the engine so it was hard to tell. If I pay you 400 dollars to find where the oils is coming from you need to use that money for supplies to clear the engine and find the leak it’s not hard to understand. They didn’t try to offer a partial refund since they couldn’t find exactly where the leak was but instead sent me a 16,000 dollar quote for a bunch of unrelated issues that were blown out of proportion. They like to say things so that if what they claim is a problem doesn’t fix it they can blame it on another part and say you didn’t replace everything so we don’t know what the actual problem is even though I paid 400 dollars for them to find the leak. I paid them part of the original quote which was 1,359 to fix the oil leak and they took my money and made the oil leak worse and again kept using slick words saying it’s because I didn’t replace the other 3 things it “might” be because they don’t know and are to lazy to find out honestly. I then paid them again which was stupid of me and they claimed they replaced a seal which I asked for photo proof and never received anything, a day or so later my car was leaking oil wayyy worse and I told them that where the seal was replaced that there was fresh oil around the spot after I wiped everything off and they said they would follow up and let me speak to a manager and he would call me back when he came into the office which he never called me back or emailed me about the issue. I took my car to another shop and they cleaned the engine in less than a hour and found where the leak came from and told me that whoever touched my engine last left multiple bolts loose causing the oil to come out even faster. The other shop was able to fix the leak and only charged me 500 dollars for everything.

      I trusted this business with my Range Rover Sport and they nearly dropped my SUV off their lift and caused OVER $10K+ in damages. I’ve been without my car for nearly a month because the negligence of this business. The owner Keith Huggins offered to fix my under his terms and conditions only and the body shop he chose is not certified to repair or work on the Range Rover body damages they caused. He stated “as a business owner he can choose whether or not to use his insurance” and I could chose any shop to repair as long as the repair cost was “reasonable”. My car has been TOTALED and they knew the damages were serious, that’s why you tried to patch my SUV up like a quilt. I’ve had to file through my insurance, my rate will increase, I have out of pocket expenses because they didn’t want to file properly through their garage keeper policy.

      - Brown motor works received the car November 20th to resolve a fuel pump issue
      - Paid over $9200
      - They were supposed to resolve the fuel pump issue and some other repairs
      - The dispute is that they are creating other mechinal issues in to drive up cost
      - The business says they will fix the problem then will not communicate and then with pressure respond and say something else broke.. This has happened 4 times.

      The owner of Browns Motor Works personally called me and we walked though the issues and at the end he personally promised to communicate with me as each step is taken to repair my car and guaranteed the work. Also he is going to implement actions at his facility to ensure this situation does not happen again. Repairs are ongoing and I am looking forward to a much better outcome.

      The business changed my oil and damaged the drain plug. Once I took my car for oil service at *** dealership they called me and stated *** of Clemson Road needed to be contacted about the damages as they are at fault. The company refused to pay for services I had started at the dealership to remedy their error.
