    Found this company working on a roof and contacted for tree removal and possibly repair or replace roof. Was communicating with Ms. Jennifer and was told that they can start with removal of tree and debris once 2800 was paid. Once money was paid the company started on a Saturday and Ms. Jennifer said that it would done by the end of that day. The company came in a personal car and was using my ladder. They didn't finish that day and didn't come back until Monday. Same thing on Monday. Tuesday they hired someone to remove parts of the debris and branches. They asked was my nephew home to help and that's when enough was enough. Talk to Ms. Jennifer and told her that they can keep the 800.00 for cutting the tree down and return the rest and now can't get in touch with them. I've called and left messages with no response. Now I can't move forward because they refuse to pay back the money owed. I would like the total amount back because I will have to hire someone to finish what they didn't do. Ms. Jennifer was in contact everyday even on weekends now no one responds.

    We were contacted to perform an inspection and work with the homeowner’s insurance for roof approval. The insurance had already completed their own inspection, and the homeowner signed a contract with us to handle the process. Initially, the insurance only approved partial repairs. We provided a repairability video and a detailed estimate advocating for a full replacement. We also agreed to remove the remaining tree for $2800. After most of the work was completed, the homeowner decided not to continue.

    We offered to complete the job and the insurance process we started, but the homeowner refused both. By that point, we had essentially finished the job before the homeowner requested a refund.

    Given these circumstances, there will be no refund as most of the work had already been done.

    We will also attach the original contract between the homeowner and ourselves.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The job wasn't almost complete because Jennifer said that it would be done in 1 day. The employees came to work using my ladder and asking for my son to help. From Saturday to Tuesday is not almost complete and then told on Tuesday that they needed to rent a tool to cut up the stump is not almost complete.

    Thank you for your response, Our goal is to resolve this matter in a way that satisfies everyone. We have completed most of the work as agreed upon, and therefore, no refunds will be provided.

    To support our position, we are attaching pictures showing what it looked like before  and after completion of most of the work. At this point, we are offering to either complete the remaining work or leave the project as is.
