This project started on July 21st. Mr G***** and his crew attempted to pour a concrete slab. that was 40'x40'. The original cost was $8000 and he asked for additional amount of $150 since he misjudged. I purchased over 10 tons of dirt and he didnt compact the dirt which resulted in it washing away from under the foundation. He never came back to fix that before building was erected. After the building was erected I had a contractor come out and see if it was level and the foundation is off by 14 inches. I have attempted to contact Mr. G***** for the last month and I continue to get excuses after excuses. He has said numerous times he was going to "fix it" but never shows up. I'm paying for the building and now to get this right, the building has got to be taken down, concrete torn up and replaced then building reconstructed. I have got prices ranging from 60k to 120k to fix his mess up. I have asked him numerous times if he has insurance and he ignores the question. I'm tired of getting the run around from him and going to get another contractor to fix this and file a lawsuit against him after the holiday.

Good morning, I heard from KG Concrete and he said that he received the complaint and since he received it, he wouldn't be coming back to fix the issues. It's been 2 months since he told me he would return to fix the issue. He has given me multiple excuses and two weeks ago I gave him a friday deadline before I am filing a civil lawsuit. He has refused to answer any of my texts or telephone calls.

      Thanks,

      Dear Mr. Gibson,

I am writing to formally complain about your company's concrete work, KG Concrete Concepts

Because of our initial agreement and the expectations set forth, I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the overall service provided. Specifically, the following issues have arisen:

      1. **Poor Surface Finish**: The concrete surface is uneven and rough in multiple areas, which was not the finish we agreed upon.
      2. **Cracking and Pitting**: Within just a few weeks of completion, significant cracks and pits have developed, indicating substandard materials or improper installation.
      3. **Incomplete Edging**: The edging of the concrete slab is incomplete and inconsistent, detracting from the overall appearance.
      4. **Lack of Communication**: Throughout the project, communication from your team was inadequate, leading to misunderstandings and delays.
      5. **Failure to Clean Up**: After the completion of the job, your team left considerable debris and waste materials on my property.

6 unfinished jobs based on the initial agreement, attempted to extort an additional 825.00 for a job that was quoted at 4500.00

These issues not only affect the aesthetic value of my property but also raise concerns about the durability and safety of the concrete work. I request that KG Concrete Concepts address these issues promptly and rectify the defects at no additional cost to me.

The 825 extra was just in material. She had wanted to go bigger as I stated that was not in the scope of the project and I also told her that I would only charge her labor. When we first met for estimate she was very fresh and was hugging me because I gave her a price half of what the other contractors were charging. Then she wanted to go bigger with no charge but I told her 825 just In material. Then she had some muscle guy came over and got very smart and nasty with me me and my guys stayed very professional and finish the job and cleaned it very well we took down a wooden deck and rolled concrete to the back of the house for 4,500 because she was saying how bad she wanted it so I blessed her with a beautiful job.
