    I had this company put a fence up in my backyard around late May or early June. About 4 months later one of the post is leaning and bulging out toward my neighbors yard. A gentleman Ray came out and look at on December 27. This is the sorry excuse I ever heard. It leaning because I put a hook on my fence for my wind chime. I will have to pay close to $600 for a post that they didn’t do correctly. I am not paying anything for a sorry job. I never got a phone call saying they were coming. They just showed up. I got a text message telling me that he was at my house. I want this post fix free of charge. Please do not come in my yard without my permission or I will call the cops for trespassing.

    I already have a ticket open and lost the number. I have alot going on in my life right now.

    Janice L******* had contracted Seegars Fence to install a wood shadow box fence for her on 3/09/22.  As part of the signed contract, we also require anyone who has a wood fence to sign our treated wood warranty.  We have three different documents that she signed stating the warranty of wood fence.  There is a 10-day warranty after it’s installed for us to replace any wood that has cracks, splits, or warping.  The fence was installed on June  13th & 14th of 2022.  Ray R****** reached out to Mrs. L******* on 6/22/22 and she stated that she was happy with the fence.  We also send out an internal survey  on a scale of one to ten of the service and workmanship she received, and she gave us a 10 rating on that survey.  We never heard back from Mrs. L******* until 12/19/22 regarding this post when she texted over a picture of the post.  We let her know that Ray would come out to look at it and get back with her.  Ray went out on 12/27/22 to look at the post and it is due to normal warpage that this has happened, so we sent her a quote to remove the post and replace it for a new one at $600.  We didn’t hear anything back from her until we received this notice of a complaint.  Ray went out and put a level to the fence and post around the area and all the others are level.  We have enclosed the following documents: Treat Wood Fence warranty signed by Mrs. L******* on 3/21/22, signed contract with item #7 talking about wood signed on 3/9/22 and a separate page stating important information regarding the fence which was signed on 3/9/22. Also, we have pictures of the level taken on 12/27/22 showing that other post and pickets are level in that area.  This isn’t an install issue this is a normal treated wood issue so that is why it is not covered under our warranty and we didn’t replace it.  If Mrs. L******* would have reached out to us after we sent the quote, we could have discussed the issue; but she never did.
