      We contacted ECS in early April regarding an addition. He came for a site visit the day after our initial call. He then took a set of plans stating he would have a bid in a couple of weeks and would not be able to start the job until July. This was no problem. Two weeks pass, then three weeks pass and I reach out to see how the bid progress is going. The response I received was that his wife would be giving birth the following Monday so it would be a few more weeks. Again, no problem. This all took place on April 28. Here we are now in the second week of June and not a word! Zero contact! I reached out today and stated that since I’d heard nothing I would assume he did not want the job and would like to have my plans back. He immediately responded and returned the plans along with his son’s decorations on it. (He did apologize for this.) I would love to know why he was so quick to respond today and could not simply communicate if he was unable to complete the job. No is a perfectly good answer. Sadly, he would have been our first choice based on recommendations and location.
