      I purchased a home under contract bond with Modern for Termite Control. 2 month later I discovered termite damage in the attic when I tried to install a vent.
      They told me that they are not covering the repairs because they say the damage is not active. Modern thoroughly inspected this house when they took over it (almost 20 years ago), and yet they claim that they will not cover damage that happened under their purview because the infection does not appear to be active at the moment.
      What is the point of this kind of insurance if they are going to avoid repairs when damage happens but they themselves don't catch it on time. So, If you don't detect infections you don't assume responsibility for the damage later discovered?. I am asking that modern lives up to what they claim and performs the needed repairs for damage that happened under their bond.

      Modern has agreed to repair the termite damage. I am satisfied with this resolution and would like to cancel my complaint
