      My elderly sister lives in an apartment complex managed by this company. She reported to management that her refrigerator stopped working on November 25 and made several calls to the local management to check on status of replacing the refrigerator. The latest response was "it will be delivered 12/19 at the latest." I have called CAHEC yesterday and left an urgent message with their answering service, and I have called twice today. The website shows CAHEC open today, but the answering service says they are closed this week for Christmas. My sister didn't have a fridge during Thanksgiving. Christmas is this weekend. But even after leaving detailed, urgent messages, CAHEC has yet to return my call. (As a P.S., my sister doesn't have smoke detectors in her apartment either!) It's a shame that an elderly lady, living on only social security, and who is faithful to pay her rent on time every month to this low-income housing/apartments, cannot count on management to provide a refrigerator and totally ignores detailed, urgent phone calls! Absolutely no excuse for this! I'm seeking advice on how to get this problem corrected. This is only my first step. (I have to choose a star rating to leave this complaint. I've given one star only because I had to choose. One star is not deserved!)
