I bought a course from Free-ce on a Saturday (around 6pm) back in April of 2022, I started it right away and completed few modules but my boss told me this was not the correct course. They state in their website that any credits earn may take up to 30 days be reported. I tried to called and canceled the course the next morning around noon (within 24 hours of purpose) but this company do not answer phone calls during the weekend. I sent an email on that same Sunday requesting the cancelation and they did not respond to my email for almost a week.
I charged back this transaction (twice), both times they said I started the course and could not be refunded because I have earned credits (which they clearly indicate on their website it takes up to 30 days to be reflected). Additionally, because I chargeback the transaction, they blocked my account for over a month (which I paid for the membership in a different transaction).
I have tried to work with them and they always take a week or more to respond to my emails and were unwilling to work with me.

Customer, ***** *** purchased the unlimited membership subscription on 04/21/2022, and then purchased the Pain Management Specialty Pharmacist series on 04/23/2022. As customer mentioned, they completed courses from the series immediately. They completed 4 of the available 9 courses, earning 5.75 credit hours. Completion of a course means you have taken the final exam associated and you have earned a Certificate of Completion. Customer refers to a 30 day reporting period on the site. However, this is inaccurate and is not listed on freeCE.com. Reporting of credits is a separate process from earning certificates and cannot be done unless the credit is earned first.

Customer emailed on Sunday, 04/24/2022, to request a refund. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am -8:30pm and Saturday, 9am - 3pm. Therefore, no response would have been provided on Sunday. However, his email was not responded to due to the customer calling in the next day, Monday 04/25/2022, and speaking to a representative directly. At that time, the representative explained our refund policy and why a refund was not available. The refund policy is as follows:

freeCE offers a 14 day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your membership within 14 days of joining we will refund 100% of your membership fee subject to the following conditions:
You must request your refund in writing or via e-mail to [email protected] within 14 days of joining.
You must not have earned any certificates of completion (all registrations for programs will also be cancelled automatically)

After the refund request was denied, customer then disputed the charge. Upon dispute of a charge, accounts are locked from further usage until dispute is resolved. Customer was emailed on 05/23/2022 as notification that the chargeback was received and that the account was locked until they withdrew the chargeback or until the matter was resolved with the card company. Card company ultimately decided to reverse the chargeback in favor of freeCE, at which time, 6/07/2022, customer was notified of the reversal and their account was unlocked. All access remained the same and membership access was extended a month to compensate for the two weeks the account was locked.

In summary, all freeCE.com policies and procedures were upheld, the chargeback reversals were at the discretion of the customer's card company, and the customer received an additional month for the two week lockout. Customer remained notified throughout the entire process.

Please let me know if you need any further information or documentation.

      Kind regards,

      Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/08/01) */
It is unacceptable that a company that takes up to 30 days to report the credits, are unable to cancel a program with the first 24h hours of initiation.
Additionally, this company unless you keep calling or keep sending emails, they will not respond to you.
I was unfortunate that I bought the program on a Saturday and they are not open on weekends, so I was unable to talk to anyone for canceling the purchase.
Finally, I paid for a membership in a different transaction and I was unable to use it because they locked my account, which had nothing to do with the program, because of this disputed, for which I was unable to complete on time order credits I was working on.
I have the emails and documentation sent to the credit card if needed as well
