      I am covered under the VA Community Care for health services regarding my back and neck. The VA Community Care Center along with myself and my wife have sent the VA Authorization for care to CONA several times and they continue to bill my private insurance company ****. I have spoken to CONA's billing department several times, along with my wife, and even the VA Community Care has reached out to them each month that we get a bill (which has been for the last 6 months). Each time CONA assures us that the issue will be fixed, **** won't be billed, and we don't owe anything. However, we got a bill from them yet again on Saturday, January 21, 2023 for $42. I am tired of having to waste my time calling them and dealing with this every month with nothing being resolved. Is this how CONA treats Veterans???? I shouldn't be receiving a bill and it isn't right that they are billing **** when they don't have my permission to do so. I don't want a bad mark showing up on my credit report because their billing department can't seem to figure out how to bill the VA Community Care Network for my office visits and procedures. CONA claimed for several months that the VA authorization didn't cover both the back and neck. However, as you can see from the attachment, the authorization covers both. The VA, my wife, and myself have tried explaining this to their billing department but they want to argue with us over it.
