My husband and I closed on our house 5/26/23. In our contract with the seller, all windows of the home needed to be treated with the exception of a couple windows in one room that needed full replacement. Within our realtor agents handling verbal communications, we agreed to keep the closing date as 5/26/23 with the understanding that the seller would pay in full all the work that needed to be done and it would be ready by our move in date of 7/1/23. The seller went with Clayton Cus*** Builders whom received full payment. The job was not fulfilled by our move in date. With a constant battle of communication failure on Adam’s end (owner or Clayton Customer Builders), we finally got him to come out on 8/2/23 with a couple others to fulfill the work that the seller of our home paid for. Not only did Adam not treat windows (as he was paid to do) but he did not properly seal the new windows he installed. Water is getting in during heavy rainfall. My husband *** sent Adam a text with a video on 1/9/24 in which he apologized and said he would follow up the next day and try to get this looked at asap. Since this date Adam has not followed up and has ignored numerous calls / texts / email. We need our windows to be properly sealed as this could lead to potential water damage.
