Was told they would would install plumbing, insulation, drywall, and flooring upon receiving building. Avoided calls for almost 3 weeks. Once they came out and it installed rough in plumbing and small frame work said they are done and expected us to pay 3x what the work is worth..promises my wife all work as discussed was included but failed to put in contract..Very dishonest company.

*** *** **** ***** purchased a portable shed from our lot and wanted us to partial build it our for them. ******* Portable buildings nor the ******* ever notified us that the shed had been delivered to the customer. When we did hear from *** *** **** ***** we immediately scheduled the delivery of the materials to their property and began work the next day. The attached contract plainly shows what was charged for the services listed on the contract and invoice. They agreed to the deposit, paid it and we even agreed to accept payments on the balance of over 7K dollars to help them out with their financial situation. *** ***** has been very difficult sending unkind emails and speaking to our office staff in a disrespectful manner and questioning our pricing. He does not determine what we charge for our services. However, he and his wife did agree to it. She had him on the phone several times in the office while making final decisions.  We have returned every call and message he has left. I have attached the contract which they also have a copy of as *** ***** brought it out as our employees were working. Our owner explained the contract to them several times. At no time did we ever agree to sheetrock and flooring. As of last night 10/23/24 our business owners had agreed to move on from this and send a paid in full invoice for the work completed and the deposit paid. However, after his contact with the BBB I am not sure that offer still stands. *** ***** is very difficult and rude. **** ***** was the purchaser and agreed to the contract and scope of work.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

They used misleading tactics during the sale so that we would agree to a cost for what we believed we were getting rather than over charged for what they planned on doing ..this transaction boarders on the line of predatory lending and Price Gouging. All conversations with the Business where clear and upfront as to what we expected and when unit was delivered they where notified by my wife 2 days later but chose to ignore us..even when they did come out and I spoke with the owner on the phone and expressed timing of the first part so I could have an electrician come out before he started the rest of the work he acknowledged he knew the process and would get it done. So it was clear that he had agreed to do the other work he now claiming is not part of the price..the best resolution is to take what was paid already for the minimal work done and walk away

    Regards,
