This starts with damage done to my home from hurricane Helene. I hired a contractor who was licensed “DBM” and gave them $5,000 November 7th at 4:30pm. He then collected the rest of the money Nov 15 sometime around noon. There is a contract that I signed along with paperwork from insurance adjuster that assessed damages and did his job. Where I am at currently is he has said that he has finished the job when that is not the case and has pushed me back 2 weeks in a row going on 3 weeks this week. He also has left numerous nails/screws and other things in my years that I had to clean go behind him and pick up. I have pictures of everything. I’ve also been told by other resources that his work is not up to code not is it done correctly. So I then confronted him on 2-10-25 sometime around 8pm. He then was very disrespectful cussing and saying a lot more, which is also recorded. I then proceeded to tell him that I wanted him to come fix the issues and I would have someone whom I trusted to go behind and make sure things were done that I may have not known myself. Now he is telling me the issues I sent him are not issues and that he’s not going to fix them and that if I want them fixed I can pay someone else. I have multiple witnesses and even some of his own employees have said he’s not doing it right. I also had 3 nails in one tire that he did not pay for that are from my yard with pics and receipt. Too many pictures to attach to this document if any are needed please contact me

The job is finished his issues are literally Punch list items. Based on conversations with ******** our schedules align Tuesday Feb. 18, 2025, I will be there after 10am. Due to the situation all communication will be through you . ***** ****** who did work for me is not an authority on this project and I don’t need to deal with him again. If he shows up and I’m there I’m leaving the job as is and ******** can pay him to do the work and we are just done.
I will remove all debris/left over materials related with the job, though the conversation with ******** was he wanted to keep it. I will run my magnet around the house again and I will email you pictures of the work completed.
I do not do sub par work and it’s to code or better. It is punch list items remaining only. Ironically it was ********’s father, a childhood friend of mine, and ***** who mostly worked on his job.  If ********’s goal is to tarnish my company and name I guess he will do that regardless of what I do.

Hey before I reject or accept this offer I need to say that I calleD LLR. They told me yesterday that he does not have a license and everything work wise he has done at my house would therefore be illegal. I then texted him yesterday to ask for a license number he then sent me the text that all communication must go through Daniel so before I make a decision. If he can prove it was just a mishap on LLRs end then I’ll move forward with making my decision.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: according to LLR he does not have a license. I would like to just confirm that by getting his license number. After that I will feel better about making a decision. Please and thank you

    Sincerely,

I was told by my grandfather that Philip called him and said, that he didn’t come because you told him you would be there and I was trying sue him for all the money and he felt like it was an ambush if he showed. My grandfather said he would call him and assure him that was not what we talked about and that we (Daniel and ********) came up with a punch list for him to do and that there would be minimal contact between the two of us(Phil and ********) only contact should be myself showing him the mistakes and checking his work behind him and collecting my $200. But he said it was an ambush.
