    Jan 2012 contractor installed sunroom. He wrapped pressure-treated wood with aluminum. which led to galvanic corrosion. We have learned that this is a well-known issue by building contractors and Carolina Sunrooms was negligent to not have been aware. When contacted he told us he did not come to this side of town anymore. We advised we would find someone else to do repairs and would invoice him..We have contacted him via phone, email, and priority mail and received no response.
    We are seeking reimbursement for the cost of having to have this repaired. Documents include our repair invoice. Please see page three of this document as it verifies our claim.

    The lifetime warranty only covers the windows. I sent the complete warranty document (2 pages). The warranty period for Carolina Sunrooms, Inc. installation expired 2 years after installation. The original installation date was February 21, 2012. We are not responsible for maintenance/repairs.

    The installation of the aluminum coil is in conjuction with the two year warranty, from the date of installation. The warranty expired in February of 2014.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The warranty was from the company that manufactures the windows. We understand that.

    Carolina Sunrooms did an incorrect installation which I have demonstrated  with photos and a statement from another installer. I do not question the product. The installation was incorrectly done and I should be reimbursed for the cost of repair
