    Had a very bad experience dealing with Practical Painting/***************** , he was contracted to remove old ceiling tiles, install drywall, and paint ceiling in our elderly mothers farm house. Over a period of months, May-July, he routinely failed to appear on job, his promised "crew", consisting of one other person, came only once. Never worked a full day and would only bother to come when I asked where he was and what his intentions were. He was given a $2500.00 deposit and then had the audacity to come and collect another $1500.00 from my elderly Mother-in-Law. We never saw any work materials and clearly he had no intention of finishing the job even after my wife and I came down from Virginia to pull down a large part of the ceiling tile. Finally in desperation we fired him and found someone else to finish the job. He responds to text messages through this medium and has been promising a refund of some amount (which he declines to specify), on the money he took. Continues to promise a refund but to date I'm still waiting
