    The base of this car seat caused damage to our leather seats because of the way it is manufactured. The base has 2 round parts that stick down 3/4 of an inch and dig into the leather seat after less than 2 weeks of use. Britax refuses to take it back and give us a refund. They have the worst customer service ever and poor Chinese quality construction. The customer service representative had the audacity to try and blame the vehicles seat! The one 4 life is smooth on the bottom and doesn't cause damage.

    After my Britax poplar user manual got destroyed, I reached out asking for a new copy. I was willing to pay for it if needed. **************** stated the company is now green and will not provide me a printed copy. They said I could print it myself if I want, but printing companies in my area will not print it due to copyright issues. I do not own the rights to print it and I would have to sign a legal document saying I do have the rights. I am not willing to sign a legal document, and the company will not provide me a printed copy of the infant car seat. This is a safety issue, because digital copies are not always available when flying out of the country. **************** is terrible for refusing such a simple request that involves the safety of a child.

    I have purchased 5 car seats from this company within the past year. Out of 5 only 2 were safe. The company would not reimburse me for a defective car seat and 2 seats that did not fit in my car appropriately and could have put my childs safety at risk. They claimed that the car seat noise that I was hearing was only cosmetic and had no intention of reimbursing. Also, the other 2 skyline belt positioning boosters did not fit appropriately in my car and were less than a year old and they would not reimburse or credit me towards getting a safe car seat. When I explained and expressed my concerns they just closed their eyes to the situation. Only seemed to be about the money and not safety of children.

    My Britax seat is very pretty, and I paid $341. 00 for it BUTI will advise everyone not to purchase a car seat from Britax. The sides that are supposed to for impact protection have come a loose from the sides of the seat. I am very displeased with this. Britax just told me it's fine I can still use the seat and I've had it for less than a year and it came apart.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A BRITAX CAR SEAT, IT'S NOT A GOOD PRODUCT.
