    I ordered a set of Le Fleur Queen sized flannel sheets from the amazon website. I've owned many sets of Laura Ashley flannel sheets over the years--at least a 15 sets, mostly bought at Bed Bath and Beyond. But I had a gift card with ******. I also purchased a set of solid light blue LA sheets at the same time. Those were fine. But the Le Fleur came without even being flannel at all. No softness, no "brushed", totally different than the "brushed flannel" of the solid set. So I exchanged them for another set, thinking it was a one off. The second set came back non-flannel as well. I contacted Laura Ashley USA and spoke to ****, who suggested I send them to the distributor so they could see if there was a problem. Strangely, they decided the sheets were fine. If so, why would I have sent back one set and kept the other, and tried to exchange them? I contacted **** again, who said she wished she would not have suggested I send them to the distributor, given the outcome. She offered to replace the sheets for a solid set, but I want the Le Fleur ones, and quite frankly, was so upset at their false determination that I would never buy these sheets from that distributor again. You need to work on your quality control. If I could have sent a comparison with both older sheets I have from you or the solid set I purchased on ****** that were fine, I would have. But Laura Ashley needs to look into this further. I can send proof of multiple sets I've purchased at ******** and Beyond (formerly Overstock); but the fact that someone could determine that these were indeed "brushed flannel" is crazy. You need to stop listing whatever you're selling on ****** in terms of the printed flannel sheet set in Le Fleur as "brushed flannel".

    I am rejecting this response because:

    It's not really a rejection.  It's that I would like to know the outcome of this investigation.  The fact that the warehouse "decided" there was nothing wrong with the fabric, when I experienced otherwise, while keeping the other set of sheets, should let you know that there actually IS a problem with these sheets being called flannel when they don't meet your standards.  However the reply was too general, and leaves me wondering if I should ever purchase sheets from the ****** supplier ever again.
