I want to commend ****************** who works in your **************** She is a nice young woman and was very helpful to me in getting my account set up. She was friendly, with a good sense of humor. ******* answered all of my questions immediately in a way that I understood her answers. She was very patient with me as she stayed on the phone with me while I set up my account. She was a pleasure to work with. She is an asset to Access One.

I set up a payment on October 6, 2021 with AccessOne for a hospital bill to be paid via my **** card each month on the 24th. I was to pay no interest as long as the payments were received on time. In November of 2021, AccessOne did not send for a payment from my **** card. They did in December and thereafter. I found out recently that they have been charging me interest this whole time for the payment they did not receive in November of 2021. I did not receive any alerts or messages from them to let me know that they were doing this. It was AccessOne's fault that they did not get a payment for November as I had already set it up with them to get it from my **** card. I have paid $386..96 in interest which should have been interest free. I called them and talk to an advocate who said there was no confirmation number written down where AccessOne had contacted **** in November 2021 for payment and the advocate talked to the managers and they denied paying me back my interest even though it was their fault for not seeking the payment from ****. I have the authorization number where it was set up on October 6, 2021.. They did not send the request for payment from my **** card on time and it was their fault it was a "late payment". I believe they should reimbursement me for all the interest I paid.

This company will not allow payments in excess of their payment plan amount with an HSA card. If you sign in as a guest and use your HSA account you can only pay the minimum payment or payoff the balance and if you actually log into your account you can only use a bank account. This is UNACCEPTABLE!! They do not make it easy to payoff the account sooner than the plan they have established without doing so in a lump sum!! I am OVER this shady company, I have called them multiple times about it and still no fix!!!

I would not recommend this company. They receive payments on time and still charge you a late fee each month. I allowed them to add a specific charge to my account for $288.00 as it had come through after I thought all the bills were paid by the insurance. They added over $2000.00 with out permission and then changed the minimum payments to an amount that was completely unaffordable. I called as soon as the statement came and was told it was an error on the hospitals side and they would correct the account and reset it, that was for the Aug statement. So I make the payment that they told me was due for no interest in Sep. and receive the next statement only to find they have again charged me a late fee and set the payment even higher. I have a balance of $808.69 and they have the minimum payment set at $316.54 for this month and they keep adding late fees on top of that. They are not trying to help the consumer with an affordable payment for necessary medical services, and to make matter worse ****** thought it was funny that they have lied to me and overcharged my account, He even said he would be happy to send it back to the hospital, I took that as a veiled threat that they could do whatever they want and I just had to pay them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that they would call back within 48 hours. I won't hold my breathe for that phone call. Unfortunately medical debt was not something I had a choice with and to have a company that is supposed to help you make affordable payments lie and add extra fees is just a shameful way to do business.

Worst payment experience ever. They no longer ************ as payment and want you to enter bank account and routing number. I pay with an HSA and have seen other complaints in which this company replies stating HSA accounts have this information. Mine does not. I now have to apply for reimbursement from my HSA and wait 2-3 business days for reimbursement. Absolutely asinine. Good job of taking something easy and making it as difficult as possible for no reason.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond to your concern. AccessOnes preferred payment method is to process direct bank transfers as opposed to credit or debit cards. Customers can also make payments via mail using a check or money order. Notwithstanding that preference, we currently allow account holders the ability to make one-time monthly payments via card on our website or through our call center. Account holders wishing to set up recurring payments can do so by providing the number of the banking account that ********************** should debit as well as the bank routing number. Many consumers find this to be both safe and convenient. Because bank account numbers do not expire, they do not have to be updated and require only a one-time set-up.To reiterate AccessOne currently still allows card payments via phone or our website. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at **************.

Atriumhealth should have some responsibility in this unscrupulous payment plan which they state are interest and finance free. I filed a compliant as I have been charge over $1700 interest and finance fees. I am never late automatic payments over paying the required payment due by almost 45% more. Although I have not received a decision I am almost certain they are going to come back with their canned response given which I have read on those already filed about it was agreed to in signing up with them to take payments. This predatory at its finest. Medical bills are not imposed interest or finance fees, yet here I am. There should be a class action filed against these practices. Especially when you pay on time and over the monthly amounts.
