    Absolutely terrible experience with Clearwater Pool Service in ***********, SC. I hired them to vacuum the pool, clean the filters, scrub the pool floor, and balance the chemicals. The tech showed up, barely stayed 30 minutes, did a rushed job, and still charged me for a full hour. They never provided an invoice--just said it would be emailed, which I never received it. On top of that, I was overcharged for the chemicals (I compared the prices online--massive markup), and nothing was explained properly. the tech was told about the malfunction pump he said it should be fine in a day, it's still same Tried calling multiple times--no return calls. When I finally got someone named ***** on the phone, she hung up on me mid-conversation, saying they were "only there to teach us how to set up the pool settings." Not what we paid for. Complete waste of time and money. I would never recommend this company to anyone. A good business depended on providing service should accept responsibility and come back to finish the job that was left undone. In this day and age, why would I pay someone $125 for full hour to teach me to push some buttons that I can easily find online I'm OUT $230 and messy pool with messy pool with debris.

    Hello, Mrs ******* called and left a voicemail. Before we could return her call Mr ******* called and requested a ************** We went out on 4/9/2025 with Mrs ******* present and taught her how to work her equipment. We tested the water for her to show her how. We did not vacuum the pool because she did not ask for a pool cleaning and the technician did not have a vacuum with him. Mrs ******* was happy with our service when we left. She paid our guys in cash and even called the office to make sure we got the cash from our technician. Not once did she say she was not happy.  I am not sure what happened between the time she made the phone call and now but she has never once reached out to me (the owner). She gave us 2  one star reviews in the same day and both times I asked her to call me to resolve this and she has not. 

    As far as our chemicals go, you can not purchase them chemicals we buy online. Our brand comes from a supplier that does not sell to the public or online. She may be able to purchase shock and chlorine etc online but not our brand. An analogy for this is buying a Publix brand verses a Del ***** brand. 

    Our fee is $125.00 per service call for the first hour, after that we charge $100 per hour. We do not prorate the first $125, that is a flat fee. If it goes over an hour then we will prorate from there.

    She can provide pictures the day after we were there, April 10th,and the pool is crystal clear. She posted them on the ****** review. I can provide time and date stamped pictures of before we did anything to the pool on the 9th and the pool is green and cloudy, so there is documented proof in pictures that after we balanced the water chemistry the pool cleared up. 

    Im not sure how to resolve this issue, especially with a person that refuses to talk to management and was also happy enough to pay us before we left, and we have pictures documenting in our work. I will be happy to send pictures as needed.
