  We hired Tile by Chris for our master bathroom renovation, and it has been a deeply disappointing experience. The project was left incomplete, with an unfinished wall and a cracked tile. Despite setting multiple appointments, Chris ***** never showed up to fix the issues.During the time of the renovation, my wife was undergoing cancer treatments. Chris seemed very sympathetic and accommodating, which led us to believe he was reliable and a a trustworthy person . However, after we paid in full, he became unresponsive. Our calls and texts have gone unanswered for over a year now.Chris also promised an annual follow-up inspection, but he failed to show up for that as well. We are now left with an unfinished wall and a mirror installed by Chris that needed correction. We had to figure out how to do the drywall ourselves and address the cracked tile.We trusted Chris and his promises, but he has proven to be untrustworthy.It's especially disappointing because most of the work that was done we were happy with, but he disappeared after we paid him since the work was mostly completed. He has not returned any phone calls or texts after being very responsive in the beginning. It's a shame because if he followed through on finishing the few remaining items, we would have been pleased. Instead, we are left disappointed and would not recommend him. We waited a full year to write this review, was hopeful that he would answer and be that guy we thought he was.

  ATTENTION! Stay away from Chris and his tile crew.Not a huge fan of writing reviews, especially like those. But this is bannanas.Chris promised us a superb job and a perfect bathroom, but the reality was far from it. He brought two workers, one of whom had only three months of experience, and another who didn't speak English and whose experience was questionable.Chris occasionally stopped by to check the progress rather than laying tiles himself. What is not more disturbing is that every time leaving, he praised the tile work, saying how perfect the tiles comes out. By the second week, it was clear the job was a disaster: shifted tiles, cracked and dented tile pieces not replaced, bumps, and uneven walls were everywhere, all of which were already grouted.When we first pointed this out to Chris, he promised to fix everything. The next day, they attempted repairs on the marked areas and, inexplicably, on some we hadn't pointed out (why?). The result was even worsemore shifted tiles, new cracked ones, uneven levels, and botched gaps, new gaps were added by sawing them with a circular saw (someone had a very shaky hand)!When we confronted Chris the following morning to discuss the ongoing issues and questioned if they might wanna use spacers to help level the tile gaps, he abruptly ended the conversation, instructed his team to pack up, and left. Since then, he has ignored all our calls and texts (3 days passed).Chris, you owe us 35 boxes of expensive tile, materials, and most importantly, a month of comfort, safety, and cleanliness. Hope you don't expect that couple of packs of grout and dirty sponges will cover the expenses you caused. In addition to money and time, our home, is covered with protective film everywhere on the carpet floor, that remains dirty and unsafe for our family of five, including two preschoolers. Your unprofessionalism has caused us significant stress and inconvenience.Avoid this company at all costs!

  Over-promised and under-delivered. Said he had 3 trucks, implying 3 crews but only has 1 guy. Walked off job because I paid him too much too early. If you use him, keep 1/2 until he finishes. Better yet. Do not use!!!
