    In mid July 2022, I dropped my vehicle off for service at this repair facility. I requested that they diagnose it and respond to me with what needs to be done. They did that, I authorized removal and replacement of the radiator and fan assembly. Once that work was done they sent me an invoice, which I paid immediately totaling over $1700. When it was time to pick the car up, the air conditioning system was not functioning, although it was working fine when the car was dropped off. Also, there was a fuse missing for the radiator fan.
    When Christian Brothers Automotive was asked about this, they said that whenever you replace a radiator on my make and model of car, that it needs to go to the manufacturers maintenance shop for a software update in order to get the fan to work properly.

    I refuse to take the car from the repair facility because it in affect was not repaired. It was actually in worse condition than when I dropped it off initially. Christian Brothers Automotive shipped the car to Stokes Volkswagen in North Charleston, South Carolina.
    The maintenance shop at the Volkswagen dealer said that there is no software update to fix the errors that Christian Brothers Automotive has created. They went further to tell me that Christian Brothers Automotive has put vehicle parts in there that are not specific for my car. Now Christian Brothers is refusing to properly fix my car, and they are telling me that it is an issue between me and the Volkswagen dealer, after I already paid Christian Brothers over $1700 to break my car. The Volkswagen dealer is saying that they can fix the mistakes that Christian Brothers made for a cost of approximately $2500.

    Mr **** and we have had a long discussion about this. VW did a very good job of stirring things up but we are now clear on what has been done. Mr. ****'s car is currently running just as it should. As of Monday morning Mr. **** said he was completely satisfied. He also said he would reach out to BBB to have this complaint removed.
