I am a widow and I decided to return to school to pursue a very different career- I chose Kenneth Shuler because they promised a $1500 scholarship if I graduated with honors. I worked hard to complete my hours with honors and they sent me on a wild goose chase pulling me out of classes to talk to different people about this scholarship. Finally, Lynette Tucker, who identified herself as the Admissions Director in the Corporate Headquarters told me they no longer have that scholarship and I should not have been told this but agreed to honor $1000 which would be presented on my last day. That didn’t happen. The director of the school hung up on me when I called seeking the scholarship money. She refused to identify the title of another woman,Marilyn from corporate who forbid Lynette to talk me any more. My calls and e-mails go unanswered. And Marilyn is the bully they refer me to.To lie to a student who worked hard to achieve my end if the agreement shows a lack of integrity. Lynette, who made the agreement lied to me. $1000 to a widow struggling to recreate a new life meant more than anyone could imagine. The full tuition was $12,000 which I paid without any financial aid or grants. Working to keep my GPA high wasn’t easy and it helped put me on a healing journey. The lies and how I was shunned in the end took me back a thousand steps. KS treats all of the students horribly but to lie about a scholarship to someone depending on it is disgraceful. This facility is filthy, unorganized and the leadership staff is rude. But lying takes the unprofessionalism to an even lower level. The entire community is disgusted by the lack of integrity of this school and how the staff treated a widow who earned this promised scholarship. They have now retaliated against me by not processing my application and school records for my state boards. They are childish bullies. They simply do not care and they are heartless. I did not deserve the deplorable treatment received. No one does.

Went in to get my hair colored November 10. I had a student named Alexis. She had a plan to lighten my hair then apply the dye to get the desired look. Her instructor(I wish I could remember her name. Short caucasian woman with glasses), instructed her not to lighten my hair but to mix 30 vol developer in the color. Alexis stated she had never done that and questioned if it would work on my dark hair. She assured Alexis she'd done it before and it would work. 5 hours later to both my and Alexis's horror it came out uneven and not even close to the color I had requested. Alexis was apologetic; she went to get the floor manager. I was assured that I could get my hair fixed the following Wednesday(today). The floor manager assurred me she would fix it herself because students cannot do the procedure required to fix it. I think she called it a soak cap. Today, I get a call from reception today stating that neither person would be available and that their night students do not come in until 5pm and there's no guarantee anyone would be able to see me. The receptionist stated they won't have any availability until after the holidays. My hair color is horribly uneven and I am so hurt and annoyed. I work in law enforcement so I can't even wear the mistake out because my policy states no bright unnatural colors. My roots are bright red and the bottom is just brown. I wanted an warm auburn.
