    I have called the person who is supposed to assist in managing business account. We were given a breakdown on billing and if we changed plans how it would be cheaper for us. Our bill has increased over the last two months and has been more than we were told. Calling you are left on hold and transferred to people who can’t assist or don’t know what’s going on. Service doesn’t always work and lags. Paying high door for poor service

    On 4/25/2025 I noticed there were two insufficient funds transactions on my bank account from Planet fitness. I contacted Planet Fitness payment center and they provided me with agreement #********** stating the agreement was entered in June 2022 and they had been debiting the monthly membership fees from my account since then. I advised them that I did not personally sign up for a planet fitness membership, I have not entered a planet fitness since 2016, and I have never entered a planet fitness outside of the state of Virginia. The agent states she could not help me and I would have to go into the local business for assistance. I am a disabled veteran, with a history of chronic rhabdomyolysis. I take 100mg of dantrolene 3 times per day. There is no way i could physically work out without injuring myself or causing great bodily harm. Planet fitness should be able to identify the fact that I have not entered any of their locations since December 2016, and I have never entered any of their locations in South Carolina. I would like for planet fitness to remove my banking information from their billing system, identify who requested or signed the agreement they have, provide me with a copy of that signed agreement and refund me for each of the payments they took from my account related to the fraudulent agreement.

    In June 2024 I went into this plant fitness location. I asked an employee to cancel my membership as I was moving out of state where I don’t have a planet fitness. He told me I could do it online. I told him since I’m already here, he can process it for me. I’ve already tried online and couldn’t find the option. He said he would cancel it. Months later I saw I was still being charged and stopped into a planet fitness in Mary Esther Florida to have them cancel it. I tried online again. The Mary Esther location said they could not cancel it since it has to be canceled by the owning org. I sent a request online to have goose creek pf cancel it. I still have not heard back and this was end of October. I am still being charged.

    I went in to cancel my membership because I was moving. I told the attendant I wasn’t sure there was a planet fitness in the location I was going to. She said instead of cancelling I should freeze. That way I could keep it in case I wanted to reopen once I moved. She said I would be able to unfreeze at any time and that I wouldn't be charged until I unfroze the account.

    I believed her and I was so floored she would help me out like that. It was really nice.

    Then I saw charges some months later. I reached out to inquire what they were for and they told me that my account was unfrozen and that they could only freeze for medical reasons with a Doctors note and only for 2 months at a time. I told them that we froze my account and I was never told this when I went in to cancel. There was nothing we could do to reverse the charges.

    I would like a refund because I am moving and this should never have been allowed to happen. This screams deceptive business practice.

    I have contacted the SC location and I have not had any success. I am told the manager isn't in or the manager will call back and I never receive any correspondence.
