      Provide the insurance company with a legally accurate CPT Code that is acceptable within the CMS system the same as every legitimate company provides to insurance companies. Thorne Ambulance Service LLC has intentionally submitted an unacceptable CPT Code to the insurance company and intentionally requested an insurance denial. My insurance company WILL pay the invoice from Thorne Ambulance Service LLC if Thorne Ambulance Service LLC will provide a legally accurate CPT Code that describes their actual services rendered.

      To Whom It May Concern:

      The level of service that was provided to this patient is non-reimbursable by the patient's insurance company. Specific questions of coverage should be directed to the patient's insurance provider for resolution. Changing the CPT code would be deemed as insurance fraud, and would open our organization to exponential financial and legal liability. The patient did contact our billing department at 3:02pm on January 31st, 2024, and this was thoroughly explained. 

      This is a non-covered service, and billing it any other way would be insurance fraud.
