I was dropping off clothing to consign or to sell. Within the bags of clothing, I had a box of jewelry. I was told by the people that work there, that they do not except jewelry to buy, but that they will buy the jewelry personally. I never got any payment on the jewelry that the employees bought nor did I get the box of jewelry back. When this was reported to the owner, she told me that I was not right and that I did get my box of jewelry back. However, I did not get any box of jewelry back. She told me she could no longer help me. I never received a box back and she keeps insisting that I did. Somewhere someone took my jewelry and I got no payment for it. She insists that she paid me for two pieces of jewelry, but I did not get a price breakdown of what they actually purchased in the bags of clothing that I was selling. I was also told that they couldn’t buy jewelry, so I don’t know why that would be lumped into what I received as a cash payout. I would like either 1. All of my jewelry back, or 2. The original cost of all of the jewelry that was in my box. I have pictures of the jewelry that was in my box. The box is nowhere to be found no matter what she says. I’m even asking for someone to pull camera footage. A purse, which is seen in pictures submitted, is also missing.I never received any compensation for anything that was taken from this box of jewelry nor did I receive any jewelry back. She’s lying to me and I’m very frustrated. Can you please try to recoup my jewelry or money that my jewelry is worth? Also please let someone else decide the value because she will give you a very low price. I was stolen from and now it’s trying to be pushed under the rug. Please help.

    Hello,

I sincerely apologize for the distress regarding your missing jewelry box. However, I must address some concerns about your claim. You dropped off your items on October 8th, picked up all your items on October 9th and waited 20 days later to inform us of the missing box. Additionally, it is unusual that you have pictures of the missing jewelry yet did not inquire about the box immediately after receiving your cash payment. Although we normally do not buy in used jewelry as we carry those brand new at our store, we did decide to buy two pairs of earrings from you and put the rest back in a black box, which was returned to you. We do not know what happened to the box after you picked up but it is disheartening that you would make false accusations against our team 20 days later without proof. Please see the attached photo confirming that we did enter the two pairs of earrings along with a purse in our system and paid you out on October the 9th.

Regrettably, without further evidence, we cannot accept this claim. Thank you for your understanding.
