Recently had 2 fraud charges on debit card. Canceled the card after the first charge and another appeared days later. My wife went to the credit union and was told since she made many purchases at a certain retailer there wasn't anything they could do. Really? Was told to call retailer. Called and they had no record of the fraud purchases. Pulled up my retail account and neither purchase was listed. But someone charged the two purchases on our card. Went to credit union and filed a fraud report. Credit union said they would investigate and get back with us. Received a letter from the credit union saying their investigation showed participant something or other. No other explanation on what the investigation showed. Bottom line. Two fraud charges were put on our debit card. We have been with the bank for 30 years. And the fraud charges were for small amounts. But did the credit union have our back. They could have cared less. If you bank with this credit union and someone gets your account information. Beware.

Mr. *****: We are sorry that you did not feel valued, or listened to by our response to the debit card charges in question. As you correctly stated, both charges were for small amounts of less than $60 at a retailer that had posted legitimate charges to your account previously. We note from your account history that the retailer has refunded one charge to you already. As a gesture of goodwill, and as it does not appear that they are refunding the other charge to you, we have taken the loss and deposited this amount to your account today. 1 starVery judging CEO. Assistant is also very judging. Not the small town feel that they say they have. Will never bank here.
