Made the biggest mistake when I decided to enroll at this school, this school is not even accredited so basically you're just wasting your money & time. They will have you complete the entire program almost until the end to inform you that it's not an accredited school, which is unacceptable & unprofessional. People should beware and know this information before even enrolling, but they don't tell you because they would rather get over & take your money. All this school care about is collecting money, they could care less about the students, they make no effort to help you learn & properly train you. Instead of actually helping students succeed with their career journey, they would find any reason to make you retake the course so they can receive additional funding & extra tuition money from you. Not to mention the scrubs & school totes they give you will tear within about 2 weeks due to the cheap materials, students are paying all this money & they can't even get decent quality materials or scrubs for their students is insane, you're better off buying your own items. The instructors lack knowledge on a lot of information so you'll end up teaching yourself, if you have questions about anything the instructors basically ignore you most of the time. The lady over this place is Miranda & she is very abrupt, insensitive, & impractical.
She literally shows no care or empathy for any of her students. So save yourself the headache & your hard earned money. I would not recommend anyone to go here especially a place that hides the fact that they are not accredited. Also most of these good reviews are fake.

Thank you for sharing your review. We sincerely value your feedback! We have established educational requirements that every student must fulfill, which are clearly communicated during the enrollment and orientation process. Our remarkable 90% pass rate on the national certification exam showcases the knowledge and expertise our instructors provide to students. We have never claimed to be accredited, we are licensed by the SC Commission on Higher Education. You can find this information on our website and in our catalog. Capstone is currently in the application process for accreditation.
We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Save yourself the time, money, and stress!! DO NOT enroll in this program. Capstone Career Development Center is a complete joke. The program is NOT accredited and VERY little information can be retained. BY the end, you’re left wondering what you even paid for.

The materials they give you—like the scrubs and tote bag—are cheap and low-quality, clearly thrown together with minimal effort. Instructors are cold, unsupportive, and show blatant favoritism toward certain students. I watched several classmates get direct help on unaccredited exams, while others, like myself, were lied to and given the runaround!!

Despite telling them upfront that my schedule was hectic, I was told I had to retest on my own time. Instead of receiving any actual further help, I was kicked out of the program, which was completely unjustified.

To make it worse, they had the nerve to say I needed to pay out-of-pocket AND take the program again. This place is nothing more than a money grab, with zero accountability or real support. Do not fall for it. There are better, accredited programs out there that won’t waste your time or insult your intelligence.

Waverley we truly appreciate all feedback as it helps us better serve our students. To address a few things listed in your complaint.
      1) Capstone is a joke…. No, we are very serious about the education we provide for our students. This is why we have educational guidelines that must be met along with attendance requirements.
      2) Capstone never claimed to be accredited. This information can be found on our website and the student catalog. We are licensed with the SC Commission on Higher Education. Capstone is, however, currently in the application process for accreditation.
      3) Our instructors go above and beyond for all students. But they are held to the standards set by Capstone so that students are successful. Again, the standards for educational guidelines and attendance requirements.
      4) All students are given educational requirements and attendance requirements at the time of enrollment and again at orientation. Students also have access to this information on our website and in our learning management system. If students do not meet these requirements, then they would have to retake the course in its entirety at the full cost of the tuition again. I’m pretty sure that is the case with any school.

We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

A Disappointing Experience at Capstone Career Development Center...
I was initially excited to enroll in the ********** Program at Capstone Career Development Center. However, my experience quickly turned sour.
From the start, there were significant issues with the instructor. Frequent absences and inaccurate teaching methods hindered our learning. When we tried to address these concerns with the school owner, Ms. Miranda B****, she was dismissive and blamed us for the problems.
The situation improved when a new instructor, Lakesha, took over. She was dedicated, knowledgeable, and truly cared about our success. However, the damage had already been done.
Communication from the management team was inconsistent and unprofessional. Important information was often withheld or delivered late. The lack of transparency and respect was frustrating.
Ultimately, my experience at Capstone Career Development Center was marked by poor instruction, inadequate support, and disrespectful treatment. I would strongly advise prospective students to consider other options.
I'll give two stars because Lakesha was your only saving grace!

We genuinely appreciate all feedback, as it is instrumental in our growth as a business. I regret that your experience at Capstone did not meet your expectations, but I would like to address some of the concerns mentioned in your review.
The owner and staff promptly acknowledged the issue with your initial instructor and took action by replacing them with a new instructor before any formal complaints from students were received. Therefore, we believe that your concerns were addressed in a timely and effective manner. The dedicated instructor assigned to your class went above and beyond to ensure you were well-prepared not only to become a phlebotomist but also to successfully pass your national certification exam.
Furthermore, we added additional hours to the end of your course to compensate for any missed classes, which was another concern you raised. Additionally, Mrs. Miranda W*** invited you to schedule a face-to-face meeting during administrative hours to discuss your concerns without disrupting class time; unfortunately, you declined this opportunity.
We strive to meet the needs of all our students, and I regret that we fell short in your case. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
