    I have applied for life insurance for myself and family. The amount of insurance I have requested has required a health screening. The only health care provider they have not been able to reach is Sherbondys. ******* and the third part company doing the health screenings have been trying to contact the Sherbondy office since April!! I have called and left many voicemails and sent probably a dozen emails. Absolutely nobody will respond. It's quite pathetic really. Sherbondy's office is the sole reason at the moment my application is stalled because they simply can't be bothered to respond.

    The office wasn’t filing my claims to my insurance, causing my deductible to not be met. I finally got them to fix it and was told in writing that my deductible was met and the cost all future visits would be. Then they tried to charge me triple that amount at my next visit, despite showing them where I was explicitly told what the cost would be. This is the second time I’ve been charged one amount, and then attempted to be charged triple that upon my next visit.

    Hi,

    From what I can tell my assistant manager explained to  Mr. ********* that his deductable has a remaining amout of $203.00 and once that was met then his Copay and CoIns would be what he paid at each visit. Which would be $32.00 for therapy and $32.80 for medication management.  He has never been charged triple for any visits.  We only charge the insurance allowables until the deductable is met.  Then we charge his copay and coins amounts.  I will send Mr. ********* a ledger of all his charges and payments once I get them printed.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 


    There are still 3 visits that the office has failed to bill to my insurance. Two on 2/6/2023, and one on 7/3/2023. If these were correctly filed to my insurance, my deductible would have been met, as stated in the original email from the office that I attached.

    Please see attached print out of your account.  I have explained it in detail for you.  Upon review of your account all of your claims have been filed to ****.  We are waiting for your the claims to process. **** has processed the 9/12/2023 which they applied to your deductable $89.00 and copay $15 = $104.  I am not sure if you understand out of the $104 that you would have to pay only $89 goes towards your deductable per your insurance company.   I understand how you think we have over charged you but we have not.  I would advise you to get a copy of your payment of benefits from **** so you will know how they processed your claims.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 



    I understand that I was not overcharged, but I have been prevented from seeing one of my providers for over 6 months because those 3 visits were not correctly filed to my insurance in a timely manner, as admitted by your office in the email I supplied. The visits in February and July were not sent to my insurance until August 24th. I refuse to pay $100 to be seen when it would be $32 had these visits been sent to my insurance at time of service.

    I paid upfront for all my visits. I did not owe them any money. I had my bank pull my credit report and they are on there saying I owe them 700 dollars. I tried to call them and they said they don't have any information about how I owe them anything. I called *** who they sent this to and I can't get ahold of anyone to help me resolve this matter.
