5 starsI've been practicing chiropractic for over ****** years now. And in those years, I've participated in various post-graduate chiropractic diplomate programs. If you would like to be officially recognized for your advanced training, FMU offers that option through the American Clinical Board of Nutrition (ACBN). Keep in mind that the learning doesn't stop-- nor should it--at the end of the three hundred plus hours that are offered. Once you are a student, you are a student for life. Webinars are continually offered, from leaders of varied professions. Just take a look at FMU's advisory board! Our country's health is needlessly suffering for numerous reasons. Some of this suffering could be alleviated if we had more well trained functional practitioners. Are you up for it? Should you take up the challenge and find that you need guidance on this worthy journey, you will find Dr. Grisanti more than willing to help. His incredible knowledge is matched by his humble and caring nature. THIS, I know first hand. There is a saying: "It's not the messenger, it's the message." Sometimes, it's actually both. He has experts talk about the different conditions of the body. He is always available to help and has such a big heart and passion for helping people. 5 starsI am a graduate of Functional Medicine University and it prepared me well to practice as a Functional Medicine practitioner. There is a vast amount of information presented by experts in the field that is covered in the course. Dr.Grisanti and his team are always ready to offer support during and after you complete the program. 5 starsMy experience with Functional Medicine University (FMU) and Functional Medicine Provider Certificate Program has been outstanding. I highly recommend this course for medical professionals who wants to familiarized themself with integrative medicine, which incorporates complementary therapies alongside conventional treatments. This course provided the road map how to implement personalized treatment plans and find the root cause of diseases not just treat the diagnosis. The instructors was highly knowledgeable and had extensive experience to draw from (most of them are leading experts in their specialties).The Course Director was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and available to all course attendees for consultation. There was lots of information in addition to that on the slides ( forum, case studies, ongoing research updates, etc). The course was well worth the time and expense. 5 starsI am proud to say I am Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through Functional Medicine University. I looked at other institutes that offered functional medicine courses. After careful consideration, I chose Functional Medicine University to pursue a certification in functional medicine. My reasoning was the diversity of topics and lectures that Functional Medicine University offered to the students. I saw the courses and knew I was going to get a well-rounded education about functional medicine. I have been a functional medicine practitioner for eight years now, and the most important aspects of the education offered by Functional Medicine University is the up-to-date information. Dr. Grisanti provides the students with engaging webinars and world renowned lecturers. The nice aspect of being a former student of Functional Medicine University is the ability to constantly take new courses and listen to new lectures. This allows me to keep challenging myself with respect to functional medicine. The medical doctors, naturopaths, and chiropractors that teach the courses are top notch! The information and education material is cutting edge, the courses are not easy, but they should not be because peoples life and health depends on the education! Do not sign up for this. It is not a University. They sell a collection of workshop recordings. There is no one approach. Structure is convoluted and their recommendations are not backed by science. It took me more than 30 days to realize that I paid 2k plus for useless information. I asked for a partial refund respecting their 30 day policy but was told a firm “No”. I told them I couldn’t even use their CMEs since I was a PA. They cater to chiropractors and I understand why chiropractors mostly and you can’t really get any credit if you are other health professional.
