We contacted a licensed electrical contractor recommended by our neighborhood. We are new here and need to have work done. A rep was sent to prepare a quote for the work. We rec'd the quote and decided to hold off on the work as the price was a bit steep for our budget at this time. Soon after, that employee contacted us directly saying he is a licensed electrician & could do this work on the side and would do it to help us out. We were skeptical BUT went along with it. He need $3,000 for the parts. He was extremely irriated with us b/cause our check is "out of state" & he had to wait until it cleared before he could buy the parts. Once our check cleared, he asked us not to mention this to his employer; that's when the problems began w/numerous excuses as to why he had to cancel & reschedule. After the first reschedule (there have been several), we realized we had been scammed. This scam started the 2nd week of Jan. On 14 Feb 24, we tired of his excuses & decided to cancel & asked him to return the products to us; we would find another contractor. He was agreeable & would deliver the times Thur, 2.15.24. Again, the excuses began. He then offered a full cash refund (we assumed b/cause he had never really purchased the products & didn't have them). Again, several excuses have been leveed as to why he can't get us the check. At this point, we do not expect he will be here on Friday w/the check. After the last round of texts, I checked the BBB to discovered that his phone number is listed under Three Sixty Electrical & Renovations and noticed the alerts. He is definitely passing himself as a licensed contractor (I did ask for a copy of his license & insurance; he said he would provide it but hasn't.) He provided an invoice with his name (******** home Services) with the same number as Three Sixty Electrical & Renovations, 864*********. We have contacted his employer to inform him of the situation; this employee is poaching/scamming clients.

Brandon Waddell came to the house (at 1100 today) and gave us $3,000 cash.
We consider this closed, he may however, invoke his lawyer.  Sad, that he couldn't handle this in a timely manner.

I am the Facility Manager at *** ******* ************ ****** and filling this complaint on the church's behalf. On Jan. 14, 2022 our church hired and paid Brandon W****** with ThreeSixty Electrical & Renovations $700 to run new low voltage wiring to our outdoor sign. They did not start the work and after many conversations/texts with Mr. W****** he finally told us he could not do the job and would return the $700. Mr. W****** has been contacted many times on returning payment and each time he says he will return the money, but always ends up with a reason he didn't make it by. After research we found out his business is not registered with SC and he is not a licensed electrician. Based off our communications we feel this might be a scam. *** ******* ************ ****** would like out money back.

Replying to the compliant, I’m sorry that I could not complete the work, I have done other work and have completed it for the church.  Which I was paid for in full after completion.  The outside stuff was not able to be completed as I called to have grounds marked before trenching was done but they never got out to mark grounds not sure why I called and called I also sent the confirmation that it was set up to be marked but never was done.   I will be happy to return the money to the same person that cut me the check.
