    I purchased a bottle of wine from Ingles. The wine was spoiled. It was not that it was a wine I did not like, the wine was not fit for consumption. On 1/14/25 I took the wine and my receipt to Ingles and explained that the wine was spoiled. I was told that it was "against the law" to provide me with a refund. I told Kimberly that a store credit was sufficient. Kimberly said that she could not offer any compensation or resolution to my problem as it was against the law. I searched for "in the State of South Carolina" to see if this was true and it is not. I demonstrated this to Kimberly and she said that it was a Federal Law. I searched to see if it was a Federal Law and it was not. I demonstrated to Kimberly that nowhere did it state that it was "against the law" to provide me with a refund or store credit. Kimberly said that it did not matter as it was corporate policy and she could not resolve my situation in any way.
