    My appliance insurer American Home Shield assigned Service Pro Heating and Air, Inc to diagnose and repair HVAC that was not blowing air. The technician determined that the blower motor was defective and that the company would be in touch. Get in touch they did. In addition to the replacement of the blower motor they suggested several other things that could be done by them. the cost for these additional items was a whopping $725.00. When I refused to allow the extra expenses Service Pro refused to do the job and reported to AHS that the job was complete. Now, none of the extra things Service Pro wanted to do was necessary to replace the blower Motor and none were the cause for the blower motor failure.
    This behavior is highly unethical. Parts to do what they suggested are available on ****** for less than $50.00. Their implied labor charges are so excessive as to be ludicrous.
    STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

    Puppets for ******** **** ******. Dealt with them twice after being sent out by ******** **** ******. Took eight weeks to get a fan replaced during the coldest part of winter. Been down now 4 weeks in the hottest part of the summer. Same 30 year old unit. They said leaking Schrader valves is not normal wear and tear on my unit. So ******** **** ****** denied the repair leaving me to absorb the cost after 29 years with a service contract. Wouldn't consider either company honest.
