    It is approaching 3 years since I have sent a batch of items to Ray to restore. His work is excellent and highly praised. However, since 2020 it is like pulling teeth to get a response, and each time always an excuse. I have recently sent an email for an explanation and am waiting a response. Like the previous commenter I would have never believed the customer who stated they never received a response either having been a frequent customer of Ray's with excellent results. But waiting on items to be restored for 3 years with very little contact alarms me and does damage to his credibility and integrity.

    I have sent trains to Ray for repair and I have bought several of his "operator" sets to give to relatives for Christmas tree train setups.
    His work is excellent. The trains look good (as he cleans them up) and the run very well. I have never had any problem whatsoever in my dealings with Ray.
    I had an American Flyer 30's vintage Wheaties boxcar that was damaged in shipping (Ray was not the shipper or seller). It was "smushed." Ray straightened it out for me and it looks great.
    I don't believe the guy who says he sent Ray a bunch of HO engines to fix and never heard back.
