      We had a great trip in a great house. Two weeks after we are home my credit card is charged $150 for ruining a comforter on one of the beds. The claim, made by Facilities Manager ***********************, was that we used the bed as an ironing board and burned a hole in the comforter. He even had a picture. The charge to my account and the email with the picture was two weeks after our stay so I dont know how we can be blamed for it. Ive called 4 times and left a VM but only got an email in response which I replied to asking for a conversation. Ive heard nothing from ******* so I guess Im stuck. I have contacted VRBO, whom I booked through, and the tried to contact the BBB of Hilton Head to no avail yet so hopefully Ill damage their rating and cost them business.

      I am not surprised at all of the ZERO STAR reviews of this Company. We have stayed at the same house for 2 straight years at a cost of over $40,000. Although the house has not been updated, it is located right on the beach with a pool etc. This year we had more problems than before (delayed entry, constant interferences, blood on sheets, rotting outdoor furniture, delay in cleaning pool, defective bikes), but all in all we had a good time. I did not plan to complain because nobody is perfect... However, after complying with all check out procedures, this company had the audacity to make an unauthorized charge on my AMEX allegedly because they asserted the house carpet and a couch had "stains." First, this is a house that has been rented weekly for at least 4 years with NO upgrades. Whatever stains we are blamed for have been there for years. Second, I was not advised of any issue before my card was charged...with no explanation! When I confronted the Company, they have refused to remove the charge but also won't provide evidence of any loss or damage. I know this may seem trivial but, looking at the other negative reviews, I think it is a pattern! I feel bad for the actual owner of the house because this company is costing them hundreds of thousands of dollars. I will not do business with this shady outfit again and I hope I help someone else make the same decision!

      Hello, I am sorry if your stay was at our property was anything but amazing and we really wish that you would have brought your concerns to our attention while you were in house as they could have easily been addresses. I am not quite sure however what you mean by delayed entry and constant interuptions? We did come by to deliver new patio furniture that the owner had ordered. As far at the unauthorized charge to your card -- per your signed contract and the initialed section regarding damages, you were charged for a large stain on the living room sofa that was not there when we inspected the property prior to your arrival. You were emailed the several photos of the stain as well as the receipt for the emergency clean of the sofa which was more than what we charged you. The Property Manager of this home as well as the General Manager of our company spoke with you regarding the charge, so I am confused how you can state that you did not receive an explanation of the charge. I am sorry that you do not agree with our policy and practices even though you agreed upon them at the time of booking.

      I am still awaiting a response to my damage claims. Please see that someone responds directly to me. I would also like to hear from the owner of the home as I am sure they would want to know that the acts and omissions of their agents have cost them future revenue. I will continue to fight the unauthorized charge to my AMEX. Hopefully all of the bad reviews will result in changes...
