      I was so pleased with High Tide Restoration & Cleaning. It all started with a phone call from ****** regarding my request for an appointment. ****** was able to send a crew out the next day. **** and ***** examined my rug. They could not clean it because it was composed of jute. They assured me that it really didn't need to be cleaned. It looked stain-free and odor was not detected. I appreciated their honesty. Even though I didn't get my rug cleaned, High Tide Restoration & Cleaning did not take advantage of me. I think that deserves 5 stars.

      I had a minor water event which required drying of carpet backing and replacement of small amount of pad and tack strip. The workers were good, did appropriate clean-up, etc. However, I would not use them again or recommend them as service was overpriced. Before using, I asked their charges. They said workers onsite were ones who could tell me that. I asked workers at least twice about cost before they started. They couldn't tell me. Before they would do ANYTHING, they required I sign an ***************** Agreement. In that it was stated" Customer or Customer's agent has received and agreed to the prices in HIGH TIDE"S Pricing Guideline." I had NOT received that. I asked for it more than once right then. They said only way I could get that was if they sent this to their estimator and that would take about 2 days for a response. That totally negates the title of the form ****************** agreement." I noted on that form that I had NOT seen that document.

      H*** **************, Thank you for your response and feedback. We appreciate the compliment about our technicians. However, we are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the price of our services. We are a certified water mitigation company and take pride in our work. We use the same pricing system as nearly all other companies in our industry, as well as most insurance companies. Our emergency service includes protecting any furniture that *** have been affected, extracting water, pulling carpet padding, if necessary (unless the customer sends an email requesting us not to), and leaving dehumidifiers (for moisture control) and equipment set on soft goods to ensure proper drying. This is the service you signed the ***************** Agreement for. These steps are taken to stop the damaging effects so that you are able to request an estimate for the rest of the work that needs to be completed as a result of the water before proceeding with further mitigation. It is our companys protocol to allow ***** hours for the estimate to be completed as there is a lot of field work and desk work that goes in to producing an estimate. Many times, the estimate is ready and sent to the customer earlier than mentioned above. Again, we are sorry to hear about your disappointment but are glad we could serve you during your water event. We hope that this response will be helpful and better explain our process. Should you need our services in the future we would be happy to assist however we can.
