    On May 17, 2023 I provided Whole House Handyman Services by cj my personal check #*** in amount of $1900 as deposit for flooring materials and flooring installation. Check was deposited by contractor the next day. Contractor called claiming materials were ordered and expected work to begin in approximately 2 weeks. I inquired about materials when several weeks passed and contractor claimed there was a delay with materials. Then a series of project start dates in June and July were provided by the contractor with each one resulting in “no show/no call” while we waited at home entire days, having moved furniture in anticipation of work starting. I had to call contractor to find out status each time, resulting in a series of excuses including truck problems, family issues, etc. We offered to provide transport to get materials to our home so project could start, but contractor refused our offer. On July 25 I spoke with contractor and he agreed to provide us with a refund the next day, as at this point the project had not even started and we had not seen or received any of the flooring material he claimed to have ordered. Contractor did not show up the next day as promised, nor did he provide us with a refund via any means. On August 14 I called contractor phone, he responded with a text saying he would call me back, but as of today (Sept. 7, 2023) we have not had any calls or other contact from contractor. The project never started and we never received any flooring. Please note that the phone number for this contractor has been consistent (************). The business continues to be advertised on the ********* ** ******r of ******** ***** as well as ************* and ************* where contractor appears to have recently started another (dump trailer) business.
