    On 1/12/24, Josh R*** (owner of Handyman 4 You) came to my house to repair a piece of fascia board that had come unattached during a recent storm. Upon completion, it was agreed that the fascia had to be replaced. I paid Josh R*** via check made out to his mother i/a/o $200 for his work on 1/12/24. His mother drove him to our house, because he said that he did not have transportation. On 1/17/24, Josh R*** came back and replaced the fascia. Upon inspecting the completed job, the fascia board was wavey, dented, dirty and had huge bubbles underneath it. I asked him if that was a new piece of fascia, or an old piece of fascia board. He said that it was new and that it would flatten out. He said that he put glue underneath the fascia, and that is why it was wavey and bubbly and uneven. He said, "Trust me, if it is not right, I will come back and make it right". I paid him another $150 in cash, with the understanding that he would come back and repair the fascia and make the job right, if it didn't flatten out and look right, once the glue dried. The fascia board is still dented looking, wavey, dirty looking, bubbly and has not flattened out at all. Since 1/17/24, Josh R*** has broken at least four scheduled follow-up appointments to come back and fix the defective job. I called him on 1/31/24 to ask why he had not shown up for any of the subsequent scheduled meetings, and why he did not communicate with me prior to any of the four scheduled appointments that he never showed up for. He just never showed up with no calls or text messages indicating that he was not coming on those scheduled dates. He became very hostile during our conversation and hung up his phone on me. My daughter was a witness to this conversation, and she can corroborate my version of the conversation.
