      9/9/21 Regretfully we entered into a contract with Calvin V. Snow /CVS Builders, LLC to build our home in Chesnee, SC. We needed a Fully handicap accessible 1st floor home w/no stairs to enter & Main shower w/no curb or threshold to enter. Build was to take“6-12 months for custom basement house”“he will have his Balls to the Walls” Excited, we paid deposit & responded immediately to requests, preventing delays. After 3+ mos of excuses foundation started. Site was moved 5 feet closer to street than he/we originally agreed causing a steeper & shorter driveway. We asked about foundation depth & he said backfill will be done. Construction progressed very slow from that point. We had concern w/shower floor pitch/drain and curb that was already in. He said “Read your contract!” When I became angry he stated “Honey” “I know you THINK you said it, but you never said it to me.” “he only follows the contract” I said “as long as you follow your contract.”
      He Continually & Intentionally Withheld important Information regarding dates, timelines, payments to subcontractors etc. If questioned he became unprofessional & his behavior became erratic. Concerned he was using the Rob Peter to pay Paul practice's with our money to complete other projects & found out he was taking money before work was completed (against his contract) He is a bully and uses idle threats.
      He says he won’t come back so all we can do is warn future potential home customers
      Calvin’s contract means nothing
      Calvin’s commitment means nothing
      Calvin’s personal word means nothing.
      19 Months and we are still not done!!
