    He started a job for a pool house build. Contract stated $24000 for turn key & he took $22000 & left us not even in the dry & will come finish it

    As seen above the first thing the contract states as agreed upon from the time the contract was accepted and paid on is.

    "The price listed is our labor price, leaving the material cost as the customers' responsibility. This simplifies any and all changes that the customer may decide on as far as materials."

    This was written that way because they were undecided on several types of materials for the build but wanted a price so that was the answer.  We started the build and completed framing, siding, plumbing, and electrical leaving metal roof the paneling on the inside and the bar area they want. I Purchased all materials minus the sinks and toilet so when the materials reached just shy of $5000 I mentioned needing that money and it started this whole uproar. I am over extended on the work for money ratio that I agreed to in the contract as we agreed to draws throughout the job. Mr ***** then used his pull as a cop and abused the very oath he swore in to, and had me arrested on a civil mater. Then they took to social media defaming our business, all while we are having to sue for money owed. These people are not the victim, they are the aggressors that took advantage of a small business that just gets by and struggles on the regular because of overhead.
