They came out troubleshoot my tv ac unit. Changed out a good motor and good capacitor. Charged $442 with still no fix. Said it had to be control board. Sent estimate of changing a $90 control board with an estimate of $500 more

VLRV provides a premium service, we bring our trained technicians out to our clients with a well stocked truck. It is not possible to have every part for every component. When I spoke to Mr. ********, He told me that his ac was not working and that he thought he needed a fan motor. I informed him that I do not carry parts for the GE Air conditioners, but I do have some used fan motors for the GE air conditioners, if he was ok with that if it was needed. Upon arrival, the technician was able to connect a test box to the ac which isolates it with out controls and was able to turn the fan motor on as well as the compressor. The fan motor was smoking. If I could upload a picture i would, we have a picture of the fan motor smoking) At this point, the technician did install a used fan motor at a reasonable price. The capacitor was tested and it was fine and not replaced. Then the technician plugged the Air conditioner back up to the test box to confirm the ac was now operating as it should. The technician then plugged the ac back into the Control box for the ac, and the AC fan would not operate at this point. Technician confirmed that all of the connections were connected properly and secure. The ac fan would still would not come on.. it was determined at this point that the control board needed to be replaced as well... All charges were explained to the client. Based on the pictures and noted from my technician, I stand by the diagnostics. Unfortunately, yes it would be an additional $500.00 for me to order the part, Drive the 130 miles round trip back to the client and install the control board.

Thankfully our faith has been restored and prayers answered to find a Mobile RV Repair Company to Service our 2016 Airstream Touring Coach!
We are amazed and so deeply appreciative of VLRV Mobile RV Repairs.
Thankfully we learned of VLRV 4-24-2023.and their mobile services after desperately praying and researching for a mobile service with good reviews! This is our first experience with a mobile rv service.
From the first email on Sunday to Tonya; to their first return call to us Monday from Receptionist,Heidi;to our Tuesday meeting VLRV Repairmen Austin and Chris who repaired our 2nd replacement macerator pump in minutes !Many thanks and blessings
to Anthony/Tonya/Heidi/Austin and Chris at VLRV In Inman,SC.!) So thankful we found you.
When VLRV Repairmen Austin and Chris came out on time and repaired the macerator pump in minutes and by the end of an hour, had repaired the furnace computer board ,resealed around the fan and checked the roof and the a/c we were speechless, appreciative, amazed, astonished, and so full of gratitude and so very grateful for their expedience and expertise !
Our usual local rv repair shop who had recently replaced the pump could not even check it for 6 weeks!
.Sadly this has been historically typical for storefront rv and repair businesses we have encountered for this Airstream coach-since late 2015-2023.Yes…approximately (7) years with many issues and repairs!
Thankfully we have owned since 1992 a RockyRidge Camper “Weekender”Van it is still pleasurably operable and on the road.It has been for a blessing with only (1) engine overhaul and refrigerator repair in 30 years! “(All to the glory of God”)
    Sincerely appreciative,
