We hired this company to complete some projects around the house including roofing and siding concerns. We paid it down payment at the beginning of August of $6,000 for work to start. It took almost 3 months for work to begin when we were quoted 3 to 6 weeks. It took months for the whole project to be completed. When was stated would only take 2 weeks from start to finish. Once the job was finished we paid the company the remaining $10,816.62. I did a walk-through of the property and noticed some things weren't completed as stated and some items that were completed were not completed correctly or the materials used were damaged. The job was completed in near the end of November and we reached out with our concerns in earlier December. CMS roofing had someone come out and inspect a property with me and agreed that these items needed to be addressed and stated they would get us on the schedule and expected towards the beginning of January after the new year. After a week had gone by in January I reached out to CMS and they stated that they had already had somebody out and completed the repairs need. I told them that the repairs were not completed. No one had ever shown up to the property since the walkthrough. It has been weeks now since they agreed the repairs need to be made and we have yet to got scheduled for them to be completed. I had to initiate all phone calls regarding scheduling only for them to say we'll get back to you tomorrow and let you know about a date. I last spoke with this company on the 17th of January. They stated that they would reach back out to me on the following Monday with scheduling details. I have not received a phone call or email from them since then and it is now the 27th. I'm seeking help in getting this company to complete the work that was agreed upon in a reasonable time frame.

We received approval for this project at the end of July and
received the deposit at the beginning of August. All our roof replacements are
scheduled once the deposit is received. Our schedules are fluid due to weather
conditions and during this time we were approximately 6 weeks out on scheduling
from recent rains/storms and current work in progress.

The roof replacement at this home was completed at the end
of September. We had additional repairs to fascia, soffit, and the shed/garage.
We begin these at the start of October and were completed by the end of the
      month.
The homeowner emailed early December with a concern
regarding a few lifted/bulged shingles on the front of the home. We sent one of
our estimators within a week to assess the area to determine if there was an
installation error or another issue present. It was discovered that the area
was simply due to the way the homes decking system was installed during
      construction (in an uneven manor).

We scheduled to have this remediated the first week of
January however, due to the excessive rain and cold temperatures we were unable
to get out. We did keep in contact with the customer’s son regarding the
unfortunate need to reschedule. The customer’s son arrived in our office on 1/27/25 to
follow up and requested an idea of when we would have this fixed. We had
technicians out within the hour to even out the area appropriately.

      Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:

While CMS did send a crew out to address the concerns, they did not address all of them, nor did they gave me a date when they would be back to address them.

      Sincerely,
      Zachary S

Paid CMS Roofing $1,400.00 on 24 Feb 2024 to fix a problem of a leakage that I have on my ceiling. CMS determined the problem to be as following: Hydro-R 3-Course the top of the chimney cap. CMS sent their technician to my home on 24 Feb 2024 to fix the problem. However, in March 2024 I had to contact CMS to report that I have a second leak spot. CMS sent another technician out and he determined he knew what the problem was and sent another crew out to fix it. The last week of Dec 2024 a third spot on my ceiling noticed by my daughter. I contacted CMS again to let them know that a third spot has appeared on my ceiling. I received an email from Brandi Q**** on 9 Jan 2025 to let me know that this issue was covered by my warranty and we were in the scheduling queue. CMS sent another technician out to my home on 10 Jan 2025. I received a call to let me know that the issue that the technician found would cost me $295.00 to fix because it is not covered in the warranty. I am requesting a full refund from CMS due to the lack of efficiency in fixing my problem and wanting to charge me for an issue they never fixed.

We were called to the home to inspect for any issues with the
roofing system or if a replacement was needed due to the age of the system (approx.
15 years) on January 24th of 2024. During this initial call no leaks
were noted by the customer. The owner of CMS Roofing went to the property and inspected
the roof. The only deficiencies noted were at the chimney. On January 30th,
2024, we provided an estimate via mail to the customer to re-flash the chimney
and apply a coating to the chimney cap for $1,400.00.
On February 15th, 2024, we received approval from
the customer to proceed with the aforementioned repairs. Due to the weather and
other jobs in progress during this time, we were not able to get out to
complete the work until April 1st, 2024.
An invoice for $1,400.00 was mailed to the customer April 2nd,
2024. On April 12th, 2024, we received payment for the balance due
      and closed the account out.

On December 26th, 2024, the customer came into
our low country location stating that there was now a leak where we previously
completed repairs however, it was just an inch to the right. On January 2nd, 2025, one of our low country estimators
went out to inspect the leak. He discovered a nail in the transition directly
below the chimney to be where he believed the water was entering causing the
leak. Additionally, the j-channel, siding and corner post on the chimney had
come loose. We suspect this was due to the high winds and hurricanes recently experienced.
On January 10th, 2025, we had technicians out to
re-secure the siding, j-channel and corner post as a courtesy. During this time,
it was discovered that the siding was brittle and began to snap in the technicians’
hands. We pulled off site and provided an estimate to replace that area of
siding and replace the nail in the transition area at a discounted cost of
      $295.00.
The customer came into our low country office on Wednesday
January 15th, 2025, and an extensive conversation was had about the
work completed and work needed on the siding and the replacement of the nail in
the transition. We were informed she did not want to proceed with additional
work due to the fact she did not believe it should be an added cost.
