Only giving 1 star but they don’t even detected that. Chad Hunter was contracted by me & my husband to excavate our land prior to our home being built. He wasn't there when the job was done, they ripped the trees out from the roots uplifting soil which caused significant erosion leading down from our backyard to the pond. No silt fence was used to prevent this issue nor were any other means or prevention of erosion used or discussed with us. When this company was notified of the issue, they blamed the Home Builder, but they had nothing to do with the excavation, Chad’s wife requested to see proof that silt fencing was not used, which we sent. Chad stated that he would suggest something that might correct the issue and we never heard from him again. His wife Brooke had been in contact with me until I sent them a snapshot of the contract, pictures and video of the worksite which showed that there was no means of prevention to prevent erosion of our land. Now we have a significant decline from the yard down to the pond which make it almost impossible to cut the grass, walk down to the pond or even use that area of our yard. They have ghosted us after we provided proof of their significant errors. Brooke stated that they pride themselves with superior customer service. Does this sound like superior customer service to you? Hire someone else who cares about doing the job correctly, has clear and concise communication with their customers and who wants to make right their errors. Excavation of your land before new construction is a very important step and investment in a place where you are going to call your home. We trusted them to do the job correctly, and now we have to deal with our yard having the steepest decline down to the water which makes it easy for alligators to make their way up to our yard. I’ve told them this and they simply don’t care since they’ve already been paid!!!! Absolutely despicable!!! Shame on this company!!!
